i woke up to the smell of pancakes. i got up washed my face and did my routine. i put my hair in a messy bun and walked out my room. i made my way into the kitchen and seen dad cooking. dad still comes home drunk sometimes, he hasn't hit me ever since last time and were cool again.
dad- morning
y/n- morning
dad- can you go buy some bread and nutella
y/n- sure
i smiled and walked to my room, i put some sweats on along with my shoes and went back downstairs, i walked out the house and into the car. i took a picture before leaving and made my way to the store.

i arrived to the store and made my way inside. i was at the bread isle when i came across maya and kairi.
maya- y/nnn
she said as she saw me and hugged me. i hug back and watched as kairi turned around
y/n- hey i missed you
maya- me too. when can you come over again. it's been like going to be 3 years
y/n- um ive been busy and kept forgetting. how about i take you out tmrw
i smiled making her smile
maya- did you know my dads getting married and-
kairi- he's gonna marry y/n's aunt
he said as he stood between us
maya-so were gonna be cousins
she said waiting for me to say something
y/n- yea, i guess
i said making her smile. kairi stood their with a weak smile and put bread into his basket and walked off without maya.
maya- it was good seeing you but i have to go, bye
she hugged me, i hugged back and started shopping. i ended up buying more than just bread and nutella. i was putting the stuff in the car when kairi came up to me.
kairi- look, i know you don't want to do anything with me or talk to me but ive tried texting you but im blocked. i- i just want to apologize and clear the air between us. i know i haven't been such a good friend these past 3 years and hopefully you can forgive me, im sorry

i said with anger, feeling my eyes water
kairi- yes y/n. im so sorry for picking populary over you, i shouldn't have and im sorry for that. i miss you and i can't stand knowing that i lost you
he said and i stayed quiet

kairi- im telling you the truth-
y/n- i wish i could believe you but i dont think i can, especially after the humiliation. im sorry but i don't forgive you.
i said and got into the car crying. kairi looked down, wiped a tear and backed up for me to get iut the parking lot. once i got out i stopped by a gas station and kept crying. i put my head on the steering wheel and stayed their for a couple mins till i calmed down. i drove back home and put everything on the counter
dad- i just asked for-
y/n- i know but our pantry's kinda empty
i said putting the stuff in it's place as he finished with breakfast.
y/n- hey dad, so vallyk and derek are throwing a party and i was wondering if i could go
dad- are you gonna drink and smoke
y/n- no
i said seriously
dad- then yes, and if you do end up drinking let me know cause i dont want you coming home and then i find out-
y/n- i dont want any problems either, thanks dad
i said and served me some breakfast.

hours later y/n's pov
i finished curling my hair and put my shoes on.

i wasn't feeling like getting too ready so i thought i could wear something more casual and simple. dad was in the living room watching a movie with my mom.
y/n- bye guys i love you
i yelled as i was at the door
mom- we love you too
she yelled back. i opened the door and walked out. i got into the car and drove to derek's. it was still early and they had just finished setting up.
derek- you shouldve texted me that you were coming
y/n- i did. but you blocked me
i said drinking my drink
derek- no i didn't. what are you talking about
he said and then the first two people entered which was clarissa and stephanie.
derek- oh my im so sorry y/n-
y/n- it's all good
i said with a bit of anger, i walked outside and found vallyk setting up the beer pong table
vallyk- heyy
y/n- let me guess, your girlfriend blocked me too
vallyk- na. stephanie likes you. but clarissa doesn't
y/n- it's whatever
i said and helped him out

7 pm y/n's pov
many people started showing up. i texted my dad and let him know i was going to drink just a little and he said it was fine as long as i dont so anything stupid..again. i was walking with bottlws of vodka when i bumped into alvaro.
y/n- shit my bad- heyy
alvaro- hey, it's been a while. how's online
y/n- it's not bad
i smiled
alvaro- im glad your doing better with the whole yk-
y/n- thanks
i said and it was kinda awkward. we haven't had a conversation in a while.
y/n- so kairi apologized
alvaro- and? what happened
he said almost choking on his drink
y/n- im not forgiving him
alvaro- what why ?

i said fixing vodka, and many different bottles on the table. he nodded his head making a "yea your right" look when mattia and the rest of his friends walked in.
