~~~
Jef was staring out of the window, looking out at the yard as the sun's setting rays hit them, casting a yellow and orange glow.
He rested his head in the palm of his hand, sighing.
His eyes turned to the side, seeing his friend Good, most likely busy again.
Good and Jef were close, but with Good's short temper and "busy" schedule, there was hardly any time to share between the two.
Jef would always pester Good, telling him that there was all of the time in the world for him to do other things, to at least be with him for an hour.
But it never worked.
Jef hated being alone all of the time.
He got up, and walked to his room without a word.
Good glanced at him with a confused look, Jef almost never left the window during a sunset.
He brushed it off, considering that Jef probably found something to do without him.
----
An hour or two later, Jef was still in his room.
Good stared at the hallway that lead to Jef's room, the door surprisingly closed.
Good groaned, and got up from his seat to go check in on him.
He reaches the door, and knocks.
No response.
He knocks again.
"Jef?"
He hears shuffling from the other side, but the door remains closed.
"Jef, for the love of God, open the damn door."
No response.
"Alright, be that way, you sour bitch, I'm going in myself."
He opens the door, to be met with darkness, and the figure of Jef curled in his blankets.
Good gasped, immediately feeling a sense of guilt.
"What do you want.." Jef murmured.
Good gave him a sad smile, and walked up to him.
He sat down on the bed next to Jef, with no blankets of course, since Jef had the whole thing.
"Awe, what's wrong pumpkin?"
There was silence.
Followed by a sniffle.
"He was crying?" Good asked himself.
"I don't want to be alone right now.."
Good stared at Jef, letting him continue.
"You're always paying so much attention to other things, and you never pay attention to me."
Good sighed, "I'm sorry, okay? I wasn't being an good friend to, I was being a huge dick instead. I'll hang out with you more often."
Jef's eyes brightened as he sat up.
"You really mean that..?" He asked.
"Of course."
Jef smiled at Good, immediately followed by giggles.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
He jumped onto Good, and wrapped his arms around Good's neck.
"Thank you." The shorter boy spoke, grinning.
Good chuckled.
"You're welcome, you little bitch-pumpkin."
