Chapter Four

"Tita? who's this?" A baritone voice asked behind me. Bahagyang kumunot naman ang noo ko at tumingin sa kung sino man ang nagsalita.

My eyes widened, and I froze when I saw who is it.

It was Jack Harata.

"Jack! nandito ka na pala." Tita Mila said, Jack sat beside her and looked at me warily.

"Who is she Tita?" He asked again.

"This is Harley." Tita Mila introduced as she placed her hand on top of mine. "Isa siya sa mga inalagaan ko noon sa orphanage na pinanggalingan ko." She added.

"And...why are you telling me this?" He asked in confusion.

Bahagyang tumaas naman ang kilay ko while still thinking how the hell did Tita Mila met this man!?

"Harley...I just want to be honest with you." Tita Mila said and let out a sigh. "Jack's life is in-danger right now and you are the only one I know who can protect him." She admitted.

"Wait, Tita." Jack said and Tita Mila looked at him. "I don't need help." He said.

And this time, dalawang kilay ko naman ang tumaas sa tinuran ng lalaki. I crossed my arms and looked at them.

"Pero Jack--"

"No Tita, I won't accept any help. Kaya ko na ang sarili ko." Jack said then looked at me. "I'm so sorry at naistorbo ka pa namin sa trabaho mo." He said and gave me a tight smile bago tumayo mula sa kinauupuan niya at lumakad palayo sa amin.

Tita Mila gave me an apologetic look before she stood up and followed that man.

"For someone who's life is in danger, he has a guts to decline my help." I said at saka kinuha ang cellphone ko. Pagkabukas ko doon ay kita ang pulang dot na kasalukuyang nasa labas ng café kung nasaan ako.

Yes, tama kayo ng hinala. I secretly put a tracker on his phone na inilapag niya sa lamesa while we are talking.

I don't know why I did that, forced habit I guess.

"Atleast alam ko na buhay ka." I muttered bago ibinalik ang cellphone sa bulsa ko at lumabas na din ng café na iyon.

I didn't expect that this will be my lucky day.

"Wait, that thing is familiar." I said and put my hand under my chin habang nakatingin sa machine na nasa lamesa.

"Yes it is!" Lyka exclaimed. "It was from Attack on Titan. The Omni-directional mobility gear." She said.

"Hold on, yan ba yung anime na pinapanood mo noong isang araw?" Jaypee asked.

"Yup!" She said and grinned. "Naisip ko na malaking tulong siya sa inyo especially pagdating sa combat." She explained.

"And big boss actually approved this project?" I asked.

"Apparently, he is also a fan of that anime." She answered excitedly, and I can see stars in her eyes, seriously.

"In short, mararanasan natin maging si Fanny ng Mobile Legends in real-life." Jaypee deadpanned.

"Sino bang may sabi na isa ka sa mga gagamit nito?" Lyka said at sumimangot. "Para lang to sa mga soldiers na sanay gumamit ng swords and knives like Mikhail and Kia." She added.
