You just assumed I had a girlfriend

"Holy shit" Steve sighs, his lips parting from Billy's lips.

Billy smirks as he rolls his hips upwards making Steve shudder in his lap.

"Okay but now I have to go" Steve smiles.

"My dad's out of town so it's fine" Billy says his grip on Steve's hips getting tighter.

"Babe I had to pick up Dustin like twenty minutes ago" Steve checks his watch.

"Yeah and he can wait another ten" Billy whispers then nibbling on Steve's ear.

Steve sighs, moving away form Billy's lips and getting off his lap.

"Stevie?" Billy says confused.

"Sorry, Bills I gotta go and you need to drop off Max at the Byers" Steve says putting his jacket on.

Billy groans.

Before Steve leaves he kisses Billy on the cheek and climbs out of the bedroom window.

As soon as Steve left he was practically speeding it to Dustin's house, when he got there he saw Dustin sitting on his porch with a frown. Steve is so fucked.

 Dustin got in the car silently and when Steve started to drive is when he started talking.

"Dude" Dustin starts, "why didn't you tell me?" 

"Uh tell you what?" Steve asks back while taking a turn.

"That you have a girlfriend" Dustin says with a proud, wide smile.

Steve blushes.

"I don't have a girlfriend" Steve says.

"Well no offence Steve you are never late even when you over sleep and you basically have no social life unless your hanging out with the party, so you must have someone new in your life. Therefore you have a girlfriend" Dustin explains.

"Even if you say no offence it's going to be offensive" Steve pouts.

Dustin smirks for the rest of the ride and continues to pester Steve about his new 'girlfriend'. 

When they pull up to the Byers' house it's obvious they are the last ones.

"Wait until Robin hears this" Dustin says running out of the car before Steve can stop him.

Steve groans resting his head against the steering wheel, he stays like that for a few minutes. There's a knock at the car window, it's Billy. Steve sighs and gets out of the car.

"Hey, you okay?" Billy asks.

"Uh yeah" Steve combs a hand through his hair, "Dustin thinks I have a girlfriend"

Billy stares at Steve for a second then straight up starts cackling.

"Ha ha very funny asshole" Steve says walking away from Billy and walking up the stairs.

"Hey i'm sorry its just funny" Billy says jogging behind him chuckling.

Steve shakes his head and open the house door. 

When they enter they are greeted by large grins and smiles.

"So I guess Dustin opened his mouth" Steve says.

"My good friend, the dingus among dinguses, Steve the-"

"Robin get to the point"

"Why didn't tell us?" Robin asks.

"Yeah Steve,  why didn't you tell us?" Billy says teasing him.

"You're an asshole" Steve says then pushing  Billy playfully.

"Who's the girl?" Joyce asks.

Steve raises an eyebrow.

"Are you all going to gang up on me?" Steve says in disbelief.

"Harrington just spill women are terrifying" Hopper says turning a page in his newspaper with a unlit cigar in his mouth.

"Oh my God" Steve groans then slouching in an armchair.

Billy smirks and sits on the couch next to Jane.

"What's she like?" Will asks.

"Nice and really pretty" Steve says.

"What's her name?" Nancy asks.

"I can't disclose that for legal reasons" 

Billy chuckles as Robin and Nancy scoff.

"Is her hair pretty like Billy's?" Jane asks whilst playing with Billy's hair.

"Hmm prettier" Steve smiles.

"Is she cool?" Lucas asks.

"Yeah if Steve's dating someone they have to be cooler that him" Max says.

"Gee thanks guys" Steve says, "but yeah she's cool"

"I don't really buy it" Mike says.

"What you mean Mini-Wheeler?" Steve asks.

"I mean I don't buy it, there's literally no one stupid enough to date you" Mike says then eyeing Nancy he mutters "again"

"Hey! Stop being an ass" Max says.

"Yeah!" Dustin, Lucas and Jane all say.

"Sorry Steve" Will apologises.

"Why are you sorry?" Steve asks confused, "I didn't tell you I had a girlfriend and I didn't say you had to believe me I just answered your questions and you don't know I could be lying"

Robin smirks, and goes over Steve and whispers something in his ear.

"Well?" Robin asks.

"I mean yeah" Steve says a little flustered.

"No way! Robin are you dating Steve?" Dustin says.

Steve and Robin look at each other and just laugh.

"Yeah nope, I love Steve but not in that way" Robin says. "plus im legit a ragging lesbian"

Steve and Billy snort at that.

"Steve" Will says with hesitation, "do you have a boyfriend?"

"Will you can't just ask that" Jonathon says.

"I'm sorry Steve i'm sure he didn't mean it" Joyce says.

"I mean if you do there's no problem" Hopper says getting nods of agreement from everyone else.

"Uh yeah I have a boyfriend" Steve smiles.

"No way"

"Why didn't you say anything?" Nancy asks.

"I mean you guys just assumed it was a girl" Steve shrugged.

"When can we meet him?" Will asks.

"You already have" Steve says.

"What? Who?"

Billy  smiles back at Steve.

"Wait what did Robin whisper to you?" Mike asks.

"Oh that..." Robin trails off.

"She asked if my 'girlfriend' has a nice ass" Steve said.

Joyce chocked on her tea and everyone else was either flustered or shocked.

"And my answer is obviously have you seen Billy's ass" Steve smirks.

Billy blushes throwing a pillow at Steve's face as he laughs at Billy's reaction.
