Chapter 7 - The beach day 3

Toph point of view

I woke up and heard Katara cooking breakfast.
I decided to change into some clothes that were Nike shorts and a random size hoodie I found in the bathroom. I let my hair down and walked into the hallway Everyone was awake beside Zuko.
I headed downstairs and said good morning to everyone. They didn't say it back, I was confused,
Katara - Ummm what are you wearing
Toph - Shorts and a sweatshirt I found
Toph -Why??
Katara oh
Katara - It's just that— That's Sokka sweatshirt
I got nervous and blushed. Katara and Aang laughed together. Sokka got up from the couch and put his hand on my shoulder and that made me tense up.

Sokka - Katara it fine
Sokka - I don't mind if she wears it
Toph - Thanks Sokka but I'm probably going to change out of it
Sokka - No it's fine Toph
Toph - No really I-
( Aang cut me off)
Aang - Toph just wear it
Katara and Aang went back to cooking. Sokka went to the couch and told me to sit next to him.
He scrolled through Twitter telling me what he saw. We were having a great time and fun. Then he whispered something in my ear

Sokka - We need to talk later, Just you and me

Though words sent chills down my spine and he got up and went to go wake up Zuko. I decided to eat the eggs Katara made.
later everyone was at the table eating. Zuko was stuck on his phone and didn't pay attention to anyone

Sokka - WOW these eggs are awesome
Toph - yeah they are
Katara - I'm glad you guys like it
Katara - So I was thinking that we should take photos for Instagram today.
Aang - Sounds nice
Sokka - Yeah
Toph - Count me out
Sokka - Why not?
Katara - Come on Toph Please
Katara - It will be fun
Katara - Right Zuko?
Zuko - *nothing*
Sokka - Zuko?
Zuko - be quiet for a second guys!
* Zuko got up and headed for the front door still on his phone*

Zuko - I'll talk to you guys in a minute

Once Zuko left Katara kept on asking me to take photos for Instagram.
I finally said yes and she got happy, we all finished up breakfast and decided to get some new clothes for Instagram. As we were about to open the door to leave the house. Zuko opens the door and yelled

Zuko - Mai is my girlfriend!!!!!!

Sokka - Congratulations

Aang - Way to go

Katara - Good for you Zuko

Toph - nice

Zuko - I'm so happy

Zuko - we were talking for a while since you know she My sister friend

Zuko - And I had a crush on her so

Zuko - I asked her today if she wanted to be my girlfriend and she just said yes

*Zuko said smiling*

Zuko - Wait where are you guys going?

Katara-   To get clothes for Instagram

Sokka - Were going to take some pictures

Aang - Want to come?
