Chapter 5 - The beach

No one point of view
It was Friday the Group was having lunch

*Sokka sat next to Toph and Zuko.
on the other side, Aang and Katara sat together*

They invited Zuko to the beach and he agreed to come. But he was going to drive himself. They all couldn't wait until the day was over they just wanted to be at the beach.
An hour or 2 went by and school was over
Sokka drove everyone home. And said he'll pick everyone up at 3:00 Which gave them 40 minutes to pack.

* 2:46 pm Sokka and Katara were sitting on the couch *

Katara - I'm so excited, can we start leaving
Sokka - Sure - Let me go get my bag
Katara - ok
Katara - I'm going to text the group chat and see if they're ready
Sokka -ok
Sokka - I'll be right down

Sokka went upstairs to get his bag. Katara got out her phone and texted the group chat

Katara put her phone down and Stared at the ceiling. Waiting for Sokka

Toph point of view

Toph was packing her bag
*Ding*
She checked her phone and heard Aang and Katara Snapchat. She was going to answer but her dad yelled her name

Toph's dad - Toph come down we need to talk!

* Toph walked downstairs to the big living room with her parents sitting down*

Toph - Yeah dad?

Toph dad - we're going to need to talk to your friends when they come.

* Toph rolled her eyes *

Toph mom - He just wants to talk to them to know you will be safe

Toph - I will be safe and I can take care of myself by myself

I walked back upstairs and shut my door
"they still I'm helpless"

I got my phone and called Katara saying I was ready. And to pick me up in front of the house. Katara was confused since I always went out back so I didn't have to talk to my dad.
20 minutes later at around 3:04
I heard a honk and knew it was Sokka. I got my bag and walked downstairs my dad followed behind me. I had flip flops on but through the flip flops, I felt everyone's heartbeat go up when they saw my dad. I sat in the back with Aang
Toph dad - So you guys are going to the nice beach
Toph's dad - Which one of you is Sokka?
Sokka - Ummm Mmm me Sir
Toph dad - you are driving Toph to the beach I trust you with Toph life DON'T break my trust
( I feel Sokka heartbeat go up he was about to cry, Katara took his Attention off of him)
Katara - Don't worry Toph is in good hands
Katara - I and Aang will take care of her as well
Aang " yes sir"
Toph - are you done yet, dad?
Toph - I'm fine ok you can leaves
Toph's dad - Alright then have a nice trip and I don't want any grandkids yet.
( omg I couldn't believe he said that my face was red and burning up. Sokka and Aang's heartbeat shot up because they were the only guys in the car their cheeks were also burning up. Katara couldn't stop laughing. Sokka started to drive)

Katara point of view
It was around 5:00 When we got to the beach Zuko was about an hour away sense he fell asleep and lost track of time.
Katara - Yes were finally here!
Katara - What should we do first - the beach
Katara - Wait does everyone have a bathing suit
Aang - Yeah
Sokka - Yes
Toph - Nope!
Katara - Toph!!!!!
Katara - did you forget it
Toph - What was the point I can even swim
Toph - Besides the last time I was at the beach I was 8 and that was the last I had a bathing suit and it doesn't fit me.
Katara - Ok then— I guess we have to go shopping ( I smiled I love shopping)
Toph - Katara no I do-
( I cut off  Toph and grabbed her hand and started walking towards the stores)
