Chapter 20 - December!

It's been around a week or two since thanksgiving. The group was good and waiting for the Christmas break, They first decided to go as a group but Zuko asked Mai out and that made Aang want to ask Katara out to the dance, During a halftime show at the football game. Aang wrote in the air with big letters Katara I'll fly sky high for you, So would you come to the winter dance with me?

Katara couldn't believe Aang did that and almost cried from how happy she was. She tried to scream yes but Aang couldn't hear her, So when he got down to the ground she ran up to him and kissed him. Then everyone knew that was a yes and cheered, Sokka and Toph still had their secret relationship ship going. Sokka wanted to ask Toph to the dance but he was still

"in a relationship"

with Suki, And Suki wanted Sokka to ask her to the winter dance in a big way. So during the halftime show at the Sokka Soccer game, he went on stage and asked Suki to the dance she ran down the bleachers surprised and kissed him in front of everyone.

He didn't know why Suki asked surprise she planned the whole thing, Toph was pissed at Sokka for still dating Suki but when she found out about him asking her to the dance she started to ignore him.

Sokka tried talking to Toph but she would always walk the other way or not answer his call or text. Toph wasn't at first going to the dance but then a. The freshman from her earth bending class asked her out he had a crush on her for a while and decided to take his chances

During the Toph Soccer game at half time he let go of a bunch of balloons that Said "Toph would you go to the winter dance with me?❤️" He also said it into a microphone so that she could know that he was asking her out. At first, she wanted to say no but then

she remembered Sokka saying that he loved her and kissing her but still stayed in a relationship with Suki and asked her to the dance. So she said yes which obviously made Sokka jealous and upset, Sokka and Toph by this point never talked and just would see each other when Toph came over to have a sleepover with Katara or when the whole group went out together.

Sokka still liked Toph and wanted to stillness with her but Toph thought he was playing her since he never broke up with Suki and never knew why. It was already December 12th and the dance was the 18
( Also the last day of school before the holiday break)
Katara asked Toph to go dress shopping with her since it was a Saturday. They headed into town and went dress shopping, Sokka had Aang and Zuko come over to his house so they could have a boy's day. Katara and Toph came back to Katara's house and had a sleepover. Aang and Zuko also slept over, Even though Sokka and Toph weren't taking anymore and tried to ignore each other most days. They had a really good time At the sleepover with everyone. They stayed up all night playing games and gossiping, Then before they knew it was Thursday, December 17th.
