~Chapter 1~

As soon as I wake up, I hear birds chirping outside the window

"Good morning, world!" I greeted the world with a smile. When I check the time, it says "7:00 AM." I threw my covers to one side, grabbed my uniform from the closet, and got ready for school. In preparing my bag, I grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl. Then I yell up at my brother, "EIN! WAKE UP!"

Even though Ein has a bedhead, he steps down the stairs eventually, at least he wears his uniform now.

Why don't you comb your hair Ein, you look like a mess?"

"Well, I was going to compliment you, but you stopped me" he picks up his bag and walks away. Having locked the door behind him, I followed him out with humming all the way there "You're overly excited for a freshmen (Y/N)!" Ein told me on the way there

"How exciting it will be to start high school! I wonder if I'll make any friends on the first day." I have a smile that lights up a room

"I doubt you will of all people" Ein chuckles

"That's mean Ein"

"You can't blame me, just don't walk in with me"

I punch Ein in the arm

"Ow!" he says after rubbing where I punched him

"Don't underestimate me, even though you're 'Mr. Almighty Werewolf', that doesn't mean I can't hurt you" 

As we approached the school, he walked away.

'Neither of us have been here before. Where is he going?'

While I'm walking, I tripped over another kid unintentionally and fell to the ground.

I yelled at him, embarrassed, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"

"It's ok!" He trembled, I looked up at him, and he had blue hair and blue eyes. His sea blue eyes captivated me, he was adorable. I heard a voice say "Hello?" his hand was out to assist me

Taking his hand, I was helped up and blushed. "Thank you.."

His voice trembling again, he replied, "No problem."

Our hands were still clasped and I immediately jerked away

"I'm (Y/N)" I answered still blushing

I'm Kacey, and I really like your name.." Kacey scratched his head

As I stare into his beautiful eyes, I smile.

"Are you also a freshman?" I ask

Kacey looked embarrassed when he asked, "Is it that obvious?"

"No no! I'm sorry. It's just you look worried and your voice keeps trembling."

Kacey responds, "I'm just scared of being deemed a loser."

Well, I'm excited! But you are right...my brother teasingly said to me earlier that I wouldn't make friends"

"I assume you guys are freshmen" A voice says

The two of us both screamed "AH!"

Kacey and I turned to see a girl with raven hair and a sash on her arm

"I thought I recognized you, and it looks like you have a friend" Aphmau giggles

"A-aphmau!" Kacey blushes "Y-You're here!"

"Hi, My name is Aphmau!" She says

"I'm (Y/N)" I say

"Nice Name!" Aphmau turn her attention back to Kacey "Wow, You look so grown up, Katelyn must be proud! Is she around?"
