~Chapter 2~

I walked into class and looked at everyone there, in the back of the class I spotted Kacey

"Kacey!" I walked to the back row where he was sitting and took the desk next to him

"Hey (Y/N), glad your here, I was afraid no one I knew would be here" Kacey said

"Well we just met this morning..but I see what you mean" I laughed "So did Aphmau show you how to get here"

"Ye...I mean she offered so I took her up on it"

"I got lost..I ended up running into these mean girls and Garroth came to save me..sorta.." I blushed

"Your red..are you sick?" He asked concerningly

"N-NO NO NO..I'm ok...it's just.."

"Do you like him?" 

"I mean he's cute..and charming..and nice..but no..I don't know him well enough.." I imaged him in my mind and smiled

"Well your smiling" He softly laughs

"Hellooo students, today we have our first day assembly and then we will have our club booths, I look forward to seeing all your wonderful faces" Someone said on the speakers

Everyone stood up from their seats and started heading toward the gym

"Aw man..I forgot about the beginning of the year assembly" I said

"Ye..Atleast I have a friend with me" Kacey says

I smile at him and we both head to the gym

"I guess we'll sit in the back..I don't see anywhere else" I said

We both walk to 2 isle seats on the left of the gym and sit down

Aphmau comes running in 2 minutes later and sits in the chair infront of Kacey

"It's Aphmau!"

"Maybe if we could get her attention-" I get interrupted by a microphone

"testing..testing..1..2..3...good.." A male teacher with black hair and sideburns was talking at the microphone "Hello Students! Welcome to a new year at Phoenix Drop-"

"Excuse me" A women interrupts him "But I believe that's my line"

"Oh..right..sorry..I uh" The male teacher stuttered

"Move aside Jerry" A woman with blond hair and orange eyes walks up to the microphone "Welcome students to a brand new year at Phoenix Drop High"

Students whisper all over the gym

"Allow me to introduce myself" she continues "My name is Ms.Layla and I am the new principal here at this school"

"Now I'm sure you all have heard the changes in this school in terms of classes, uniforms, and other activities. I can assure you all of these changes were made to better your education and your school. As your principal I'm looking out for everyone here, my office is always open for students in need. Now, I'll keep this assembly short since I know you all are looking forward to checking out the clubs down at the field. Remember, if you have any questions, don't forget to ask a mentor on sight. Now thank you all for your time. Let's go Flame Talons! Whoo!"

Students start to leave the school to check out the clubs on the field

"I guess we'll check out the clubs" I say excitingly

"Sounds like your excited" Kacey says "And confident"

"I am! Let's go! Don't forgot I will be by your side the entire time!"
