~Chapter 20~

I run outside and see that the race hasn't started yet

"What happened? Why are we all waiting?" I ask Aphmau

"Apparently Blaze had to use the fire hydrant" Aphmau giggles

"That is such an old joke" I deadpan

"That's what I said" Raven says

I giggle

"At least it gives me more time.." Aphmau says

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE"

I turn around and see Maria

"It's been awhile alpha!" Maria says

"Oh great.." I turn to Raven and the other werewolf "I'm gonna find Blaze"

I race to the gym doors and Blaze was just coming outside

"Blaze! What took you so long?" I ask

"Well I got stopped by someone asking about Aphmau and Ein" Blaze says

"Wait your talking about Aaron?" 

"Ye, how'd you know?"

"I ran into him as well, it was the first time I'd seen him but I was able to put the piece together" I laugh

"Let's take this obstacle course on!" Blaze yells

"Wait..I need to talk to Aaron, maybe he'll watch the werewolf games and-"

"I already offered but he just passed by"

"Oh...Well..maybe I can ask him what's going on..it's weird that he's asking about Aphmau and Ein"

"I told him I would look after her, no worries, now didn't you say you were gonna cheer me on?"

"Right, got you Blaze" I smile and we run down to the course

"Alright I'm here let's do this!" Blaze says when we reach them

"Ah! Blaze!" Aphmau says

"Hey!"

"Soooo umm.. Evan here says that the course looks easy" Aphmau stutters

"Sure does! Honestly I'm fine with running it through! Gives you time to think about who's gonna be the Alpha!"

"That's the spirit" I smile

"Plus it's a free day for us werewolves" Blaze says "Lets us celebrate!"

"Oh! Right!" Aphmau laughs nervously "Well then..let the games begin!"

When Aphmau announces, the werewolves run to the starting point

After they ran the obstacle course...three times..Aphmau had them play frisbee together

"Aphmau! Have you picked an Alpha yet?" Mr. Gavin comes out of nowhere

This was my chance to flee and find out what happened to Aaron

I looked all over the school but no trace of Aaron

"Where could he be?" I say "I ran too late I-"

I looked to the ground and found a trace of white flower petals

"Aaron!" I followed them and stopped in front of Mr. Gavin's classroom

I stepped inside and in the back left corner table of the room was Aaron

"There you are!" I walk to the back and take a seat next to him "Why are you here?"

"I thought you were at the werewolf games..." Aaron speaks
