After what felt like forever, the group finally made it back to Dream's base. Although she couldn't see anything, she could almost sense her surroundings through the thin sheet of fabric covering her face and body. A unsettling breeze of cool air brushed past her and made her shiver slightly. She already didn't like the feeling of this place. She felt her body elevating in the boy's arms, going higher and higher onto different ground floors until he continued to walk on an evenly flat surface floor. She heard the creek of a door opening and was lifted carefully off the shoulder and to sit down. The sheet was pulled off her quickly and she blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the new lighting.

It was dark, the window being the only thing that lit up the room. There was a table isolated in the far corner and a chest in the other. The room itself was fairly small, but seemed huge due to hardly anything being inside it. There was also a door next to the bed, which she assumed lead out to some kind of bathroom. By the looks of it, this is where she'd be staying for a while.

She turned to look at the boy standing tall in front of her grab a chair from the other side of the room and drag it over, spinning it swiftly before taking a seat in it. His elbows and arms rested against the back of the chair and he leaned forward against it for support. He watches her take in the room around her from behind his mysterious mask.

"Like your new room?" He asks, breaking her from her small trance. He could tell she took some interest in the room from the slight twinkle in her eyes as she stared in awe at everything around her. Guess it must be pretty different here compared to L'manburg.

"Not really, no.." she lied, not willing to let him know how she really felt. There was no way she was going to give him any more pride then he already received - he, of all people, didn't deserve it. Therefore, she was going to make it her duty to make everyone's life a living hell during her time here.

He responded quietly with a hum, nodding his head slowly. Obviously he knew she was lying and she could tell he knew too.

"Well you should start getting used to it because this is where you'll be staying for a while" he smirked, although she currently couldn't tell. Her expression quickly morphed into one of surprise and she shot a brief glare at him.

"Speaking of which, why am I here?" She questioned him, raising her eyebrow slightly. "Surely killing Tubbo would've been more efficient, so why trade the opportunity?"

"You're a good asset to their team... too good of an asset" he replies slowly, referring to the day in the secret room where she had quickly bested him.

"Still... wouldn't it have been easier to kill me instead then?"

Truthfully, she had a point. Killing her when he had the chance to would save him a lot of worry and trouble that she was bound to give him now, and yet he passed the option and spared her yet again, though he said to some extent that he wouldn't. But little did she know, was that he had a much smarter plan in mind, one that would benefit him and his team far more greatly.

"Maybe... but then where's the fun in that?" His smirk only grew as the words left his mouth and so did her frown. Although she had no idea what that implied, she wasn't sure she wanted to find out. She shifted her wrists around, attempting to loosen the ropes at least a little to relieve the pain building up from them, but ended up hitting her bad leg against the bed. She let out a small groan from the pain that shot up through her entire left side.

Dream chuckled quietly at her clumsiness, finding it somewhat amusing before looking down at her leg. He quickly recognised it as the leg he had swung at during their previous encounter and a feeling of interest overwhelmed him. And maybe a bit of guilt too. He stared at the loose bandages hanging off her leg and the blood that was caked around the wound area, clearly not been stopped properly.
