It was for a mere moment that Ariel questioned her reality

It was for a mere moment that Ariel questioned her reality. A Rip Van Winkle story that she seems to be living through, which some could say for her would be incredibly terrifying. But on the most unexpected circumstances, though she told herself she was preparing for this moment, it was truly invigorating. The freshwater molecules flowed through her body in the most enlightening way possible as she steadily, yet hesitantly swam forward out of the door.

One can argue that stepping through a door frame is nothing but ordinary, common. However, for Ariel, this was an entirely different circumstance. Ariel was the living being of the word 'hesitant'. Some days she couldn't grow the courage to know what could be appealing or down-right dreadful for her next awakening mornings. Her heart was always set back on negativity, it was just how her personality functioned.

But she wasn't to blame.

The beckonings of her past couldn't seem to be classified as a painful reminder of the sort, or a foreshadowing obstacle of the future at this very moment. Her mind was hooked. However, this so-called day of fun did not appear any different as it usually did to Ariel within this moment. Rather it was not mundane, there was not a second thought that appeared in her mind. She felt free. Adventurous.

Yet at the same time, amazingly it wasn't a new feeling. More so something she hadn't felt in so long. She was grateful for such a wonderous reunion with that feeling.

"You good?" Trollex questioned, relaxing a hand on her shoulder as an attempt of comfort. Her thoughts didn't exactly align up accurately with her body language. Her facial expression displayed ambivalence, uncertainty. But her heart persuaded her she was more than willing to swim faster than any aquatic organism alive.

She inhaled deeply and sighed out her negative thoughts. She turned towards Trollex and just nodded, her words not bothering to formulate an answer.

Trollex, however, saw that-that was a good enough confirmation for him to bring her along. He held out a hand ever-so-chivalrously, causing Ariel to cover her mouth in shock from the gesture. Of course, she knew Trollex enough to trust him, but she couldn't help but become flattered or flustered at such kind movements.

She lightly stifled a giggle and took his hand. She couldn't help but notice how gentle he was when he held her, and she adored that he cared enough about her in such a way.

A few minutes made their calm passing, and Ariel gasped at the sight as she heard Trollex speak. "Well, here we are!". She gazed upon what was shining, shimmering, splendid. Her heart was beating at such an optimum, her emotions just felt so right through her euphoria. Thereupon her view was the most awe-swelling buildings that were lit up with all kinds of bright colours. She saw an array of pink, yellow, dark blue, green, practically every colour she didn't think could be such a joyous combination.

She admitted though she had seen the area from a distance, as while she was in banishment her gaze was only fixated on so much, know everything appeared in much clearer detail - and it was truly wondrous.
