It's been about 6 months since me, Minho, Sonya, and Aris were taken from our loved ones to W.C.K.D. I really miss Newt. I miss his voice, his smile, his kisses, his British accent, and me being in his arms. I hope he hasn't forgotten me. I hope Thomas is coming up with a plan to save us. W.C.K.D. put me, Minho, Sonya, and Aris in a train to store us there. Along the way, I fell asleep.
*time skip*
Suddenly, the train just moved around like crazy which woke me up.
"Sonya, what's happening?!" I ask her in fear.
"I don't know!" she answers.
Then...silence. The train stops. How did it stop? The door opens, and whoever stopped the train walks inside. It's Thomas, Frypan, Brenda, and Harriet!
"Guys!" I get up from my seat and hug Thomas. He hugs back tightly. I hug Frypan, then Brenda and then Harriet. I noticed Newt's missing.
"Where's..." I was about to ask where Newt was but all of a sudden he walks in and makes eye contact with me. Do my eyes deceive me? Am I dreaming? I walk over to Newt slowly with tears forming in my eyes. I see tears forming in his eyes as well. God, I missed him.
"My girl..." Newt whispers with a smile as more tears filled his eyes. I can see he's trying to fight them back.
"Newt...it's you...you're really here..." I whisper as I put my hands on his face to make sure I'm not dreaming. I'm not. He's real. And he's here. We both embrace tightly and cry on each other's shoulders.
"I missed you so much, love." Newt whispers as I feel his warm breath on my shoulder which sends shivers down my spine and makes me have butterflies in my tummy.
"I missed you, too...so much." I respond as I sniffle. After a minute of hugging, we pull apart, look in each other's eyes, and kiss tightly, yet gently. It's good to be back in his arms. I hope we never get separated from each other like that again.
I see Harriet reunite with Sonya and Aris which I thought was heartwarming. I realized I never got to tell Newt or Sonya that they're brother and sister. I've got to tell them. And I see Thomas is looking for Minho. Where is he? I was asleep during the ride, so I don't know what they did with him.
"He's not here." Thomas says as he walks back to us. We even gather some of the remaining prisoners and we all escape. We couldn't just leave them on the train even though it stopped. They were about to be experimented on and treated like as if they were objects. Janson and Chancellor Paige were such sick people.
*time skip*
We go somewhere safe and Thomas, Newt, Brenda, Frypan, Sonya, and Harriet nurse Aris and I back to health since we had little cuts on our foreheads and black eyes since W.C.K.D. has been beating us up and the train got all out of control before it stopped. Thomas says to Aris that it's good to see him and asks him what happened when we got taken. Aris answered that they were talking about a city. I noticed after Sonya spoke, Newt looked at her. It makes me feel so sad that they don't even know they're siblings and they're in the same room.
"Jacqui? You alright there? Looked like you were a million miles away." Newt asked me in concern. I didn't even notice I zoned out.
"Oh. Yeah, I'm good." I answer.
"You sure?" Newt asks.
"Yes. Remember I'd tell you if there was a problem. But there's nothing. Not a big deal anyway." I respond as I look in his eyes so he knows that I'm telling the truth. He nods in response as he accepts that I'm telling the truth. I sigh in relief softly so he doesn't hear it.
Thomas asks Aris why Minho wasn't on the train. Aris looked down in guilt and apologized for some reason.
"I'm sorry, Thomas. He was on the train." Aris admits. We knew it wasn't his fault. It was W.C.K.D. They moved him to a different group.
