part twelve

Hey guys, so Halloween part comes next. I feel more like writing some cute and caring Midas stuff today. To be honest I'm quarantined for the next 13 days but don't worry I haven't got any symptoms yet.

So I guess enjoy this part and stay save.

Midas has given (y/n) 2 days off work but she called in sick for the week.

This morning they assembled in the meeting room. „Good morning agents.“,Midas turns around in his golden chair and looks around. „Someone is missing. Has anybody seen or heard something from (y/n)?“, he asks sounding a bit concerned.

„I've seen her a couple times getting a snack after midnight.“, Peely reported. „We played animal crossing together last night but I haven't seen her in person.“,Skye added. „I assume no one other then peely has seen her in person this week?“, Midas inquired. Everyone nods.

„Hmm that's odd. Okay so here are your tasks for today.", he hands papers to everyone. „I'm going to look how (y/n) is.“, Midas gets up from his chair and heads to (y/n) s room.

Midas pov
I gently knocked on her door and waited for her to give me a sign. After a minute of no response I knocked again. She carefully opened the door. „Hello (y/n), how are you?", I examined her face. Her eyebags were sore and she got dark rings under her eyes. „I'm doing fine. Thanks for checking. “, she tried to close the door but I stuck my foot between the door.

„You don't seem to be fine. Do you... Need somebody to talk? You seem like you are going to a rough time.“, I asked. „I don't know... “, she answered. She leaves the door open and walks over to her bed. I closed the door and followed after her. She has a fluffy blanket wrapped on her body. The floor was covered in tissues.

(y/n) hides her head in the blanket. „What's wrong dear?“, I sit down next to her. „I don't know how to explain...“,she started. „Do you know these days where you just want to stay in bed and want to cry?“, she looks down to the floor. „Yes, I have experience with depression. If it's that what you mean.“, I could hear her sobbing.

I considered for a moment. She is an important part of the team and can't be missing that long. I need to find a solution. „I know working in that condition could be hard... Nevertheless I need you back to work. You are an important member for the team. How about you come with me to my office?“, I suggested. „I don't know. I would do home office if I'd be able to but I can't work while I cry... “, she replied.

„Hmmm that's a good point. Then come with me and work in my office. If you then feel like crying I could be there to cheer you up and you can also sleep on my sofa if you're feeling tired.“, I mumbled. „No, I don't want to be a burden to you.“, she sobbed. „You won't be a burden. I promise I'll be there for you.“, I said.

She nodded. I lift her up and carry her in bridal style. She looked at me surprised. „Don't worry I won't let you fall.“, I promised and walked with her out of her room.

Tina and Skye walk towards Midas and (y/n). They make hearts with their hands and Tina sings "here comes the bride". Both (y/n) and Midas looked at them sternly, she also showed them their middle finger. „What is that supposed to mean Tina?“, Skye asks. „Uhmmm when someone shows you their middle finger they.... Want some time alone.“,Tina explains. „Hmm I wonder why (y/n) needs some time alone with Midas.“, she replied. „I don't know little one, I don't know.“

Midas walks into his office with (y/n) on his arms. He gently puts her down on a comfy chair and rolls it over to his golden chair on his desk. He opens a laptop in front of her and put a box of tissues there. „Just in case you need some. Is there anything else I can get you?“, he asked. „Something to drink would be nice.“, she mumbled.
