Mga tanong sa isip ko na kahit isa wala pang nasasagot. Pinilig ko ang ulo ko at tumingin sa view ng opisina ko. I can't believe it, finally after so many years in my parents' house or hell for me. I finally lived myself and am still pursuing my dream. I'm here in Madrid now, working as an architect as I always wanted to be.
Nawala ako sa iniisip ko ng may narinig akong kumatok sa pintuan ng opisina ko.
"Miss Maureen, the client is here." tawag ni Clasey, secretary ko. I turned with a cold expression, "Ok" tumayo na ako at pumunta sa Resto sa baba ng building.
Mabilis na tumayo ang client ko nong nakita akong paparating, "hello, take a sit Mr. Guavel" I said in a formal tone with a cold stare again, as usual ganito ako palagi sa trabaho they called me Evil architect , I'm cold as an iceberg, never smile, and, of course, the highest-paid architect in Madrid. Wala pa akong nagagawang palpak in my whole life expect with him.
"H-hello architect!" Nauulatal niyang sabi tumango lang ako. "So Mr. Guavel? What is it?" I asked.
"Hmm, ho una proposta per te architetto"(I have a proposal for you architect.) Kaya naman napataas ang kilay ko at naghihintay ng sasabihin niya.
"Another proposal aside from my ongoing project for you" he smiled nervously. "Mr. Guavel, I don't think I can do that. I have so many projects to do now" deritsyo ang tingin sa kanya.
"I know architect, but this one is big!" He said with matching hands gestures. Wow ah may pa ganun si kuya mo, exaggerated masyado ah.
Peke akong tumawa, kaya naman napakunot s'ya ng noo. "Stop wasting my time Mr. Guavel, I don't have time to you and your exaggerations. Oh come on." Back again with my cold expression.
"Architect, please accept it. I know you have so many things to do but accept this. It's 8m Euro! Just accept it! I just want A 10th floor building with a modern designs." Pagmamakaawa nya.
"For what is the building then?" I asked, bakas naman ang gulat niya sa pagpayag ko, hello 8m euro sino hindi papayag?! Parang makakabili na ako ng isang mall nun! Charr.
"It's for a law firm of my friend of mine." Napataas naman ang kilay ko doon. "Ok, it's your friend who is gonna pay? And is he or she is the one who want to build a law firm? I asked curiously.
He nodded at me, " He is the one, he is on her way so you can meet him." I nodded but suddenly my secretary walk towards me
"Ma'am you have a meeting after this if you gonna wait then you'll be late it's a board meeting" and back to her sit.
"Oh sorry Mr. Guavel, I have meeting after this and I'm gonna be late if I wait longer. I call you for the next meeting I gonna go now." I said formally.
"Hmm, please wait more. I now he is gonna be here in 5 minutes" Mr. Guavel asked me with begging eyes.
"I have to go now, my secretary call you for updates. Nice to meeting you." I said and turned my back to him.
Habang naglalakad kami may naagaw ng atensyon ko, my heart rapidly beating. I feel nervous. I looked what is it but I didn't see it.
I ignore it, hindi ako mapakali habang naglalakad kami palabas ng secretary ko. Deritsyo lang akong naglakad ng may nakabunggo sakin.
"Oh sorry miss, I'm in rush. I'm very sorry again bye!" With a baritone voice and a apologize tone, I froze, I know that voice! Mabilis akong lumingon, ngunit wala na akong makitang tumatakbo or nagmamadali dito sa resto.
"Ma'am we have to go, the meeting will start in 1hour" my secretary said. Mabilis ko namang pinilig ang ulo ko at taas noong dumiretsyo sa pinto. I might hallucinating, he never go here!

Pagpasok sa board room, nandoon na lahat ng mga board members, They all stand when they see me. Yes, I'm the CEO of this company, a company that builds buildings and other structures. The main branch is here in Madrid. It was just a small housing firm, and I was almost in deficit, but I didn't give up. My company is now the most grossing company in this country and has other branches in every country aside from the Philippines. I will never go back there.
"buon pomeriggio architetto"
(good afternoon architect) They all said before going there sits. I slightly nodded.
"la nostra azienda sta incassando ora in diversi architetti del paese"(our company are grossing now in different countries architect) the one of board members said, Mr. Persilie.
"I'm grateful for that, Mr. Persilie" said with a cold tone. Hays boring na naman!
"Architect, why we not try to made a branch in Philippines, we all know that you've been there so it might a good country to start a architectural business." Engineer Hermie said.
I stared at her sharply, they always said that! Nothing change. I don't want to back there!
"If nothing neccessary to talk with, I have to adjourn this meeting. I have many things to do, more important than this stupid ideas" I stare them darkly.
"But Miss Andromeda, Philippines is a good country to build business." Another board member said, then they all nodded. Lagi nalang ah! Pagbigyan na nga naiirita na ako sa mga ito paulit ulit nalang yung sinasabi wala na bang iba tulad ng Your beautiful Architect! Nakakaloka!
"I'll think about it" they smile happily. Wow ah proud kayo?! Nakabusangot akong naglakad palabas ng meeting room.
Direkta akong pumasok sa office at nagsimula ng pumirma ng mga papiles. "Clasey, May I have black coffee and slice Chocolate cake" utos ko sa secretary ko. Maya maya ay dumating na si Clasey dala-dala yung inutus ko. "You may go now" i said without looking her. Pagkalabas nya napabuntong hininga naman ako.
Hays totoo ba talaga?! Sinabi kong pagiisipan ko?! My parents don't do anything to me, but they will always go to my office there and force me to marry! Yeah, I'm 29, but I'm not that old! Atska wala pa naman ako nagugustohan then bata pa ako para don marami pa ako gustong gawin sa buhay ah!
I heavily signed, and look again in the best part her in my office, the view.
Kailan kaya kami ulit magkikita?
