We're gonna wipe the floor with you!
"Hinata!" You called out to him as he was parking his bike on the racks. He peeked over his shoulder. "Oh, hey y/n." He greeted.
You held out a packaged candy bar. "Sorry for roasting you yesterday."
His eyes lit up. "Candy! Wow, thanks! I know you didn't mean it anyway." He cheered.
Hinata eyeballed the light blue game console in your pocket. "So you like video games?"
You tilted your head in confusion, then remembered your console that you left in your jacket. "Oh, yeah, you could say that."
"You'd be good friends with another friend of mine. He's on the Nekoma team! He likes games too!"
"Really? What's his name?"
"Kenma!"
"Oh, that's a cool name-"
"Y/N!"
You and Hinata turned to see Kayla and BB angrily watching you. "No talking to the enemies!"
You sighed. "See ya Hinata." You walked past him to your friends.
"Y-Y/n!"
You turned back around to Hinata. He gave a thumbs up. "Can't wait to play you today!" You gave a small grin and nodded.
"What were you doing talking to him!" Kayla asked you as the three of you walked into the school.
"I was smack talking him." You lied.
"That's our girl!" BB and Kayla cheered.

You, Kayla, BB, and your other teammates, Rin, Misaki, and Sara all walked outside of the school to eat lunch. Kayla explained the reason why your coach and the boys coach set up a practice game after school.
"Are you crazy, BB!? Yeah, we've gotten better, but the boys team is insanely good too! Haven't you seen Hinata and Kageyama's quick?" Sara whined.
"Only on T.V and from the stands, but I'm sure it's not as awesome up close!" She stuck out her bottom lip, pouting.
"Don't worry Sara!" Rin assured her. "We've got a couple tricks up our sleeves! Including..." The girls turned to look at you. "...our secret weapon."
You glanced up from your game. "Stop glaring at me like that. Makes me anxious."
As you continued to walk down the sidewalk, you noticed that your usual spots were taken...
by the boys volleyball team.
"Are you kidding me!? Noya! Tanaka! Get up from our seats!" Misaki hissed.
Nishinoya and Tanaka, second years. In a class with: Misaki.
Asahi, third year. In a class with: Rin.
Sugawara and Daichi, third years. In a class with: Sara.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't realize you guys sat here!" Tanaka laughed, clearly lying.
Suga peeked behind BB to see you playing your video game. "Hey, Y/n!" He waved.
You waved back. "Our mom wants to know when you can come over for dinner again."
"Really? I can come over tonight after our match!" He smiled. Both the boys and girls watched as you and Suga had a conversation, as if the rest of them weren't there.
"QUIT BEING FRIENDLY WITH THE RIVALS!" They shouted at the two of you.
"We're gonna wipe the floor with you!" Kayla hissed, eyeing Kageyama. "We'll prove who's the better setter."
"And who has the better blockers." BB smiled.
"And who's the better wing spiker." Sara smirked.
"And who's the better ace!" Rin gleamed.
"And who's the better libero!" Misaki crowed.
The girls turned to you. You sighed.
"...And who's the better...decoy."
The boys gasped. "Wait a minute...decoy...that means...." They turned to their decoy, Hinata.
"Y/n is my rival?" Hinata muttered, the two of you locking eye contact.
