Sans woke up the next day in Carter's arms on the couch. Had he managed to tame the beast, Sans guessed so. He could hear the fox monster's soft purring and nuzzled into his soft fur more. As Carter began to stir awake he put a paw over Sans's belly and began to rub it. Sans's face flushed and he closed his eyes at the relaxing feeling. "So when are they coming?"
Sans blinked, the topic of birth really got under his skin. He'd read of stillborns and monsters dying at birth and the so the topic of birth often disturbed him.

"Hey Carter?"

               "Yeah?"

"You're... not gonna leave me right?" Carter went quiet and avoided eye contact with the small skeleton. Sans's eyes began to water and he teleported back to his room.  Instead of his bed he hit face first into his ceiling and the soulings send a wave of pain in his belly.
Sans gasped and held his hands on his belly. "Sorry kids" Sans said his voice cracking.

Sans laid down in his bed and  put a hand on his belly. The souling pulsed at the movement and Sans began to cry.

A while later Sans heard a knock at the door. Whoever it was they were lucky that Papyrus wasn't home. Sans went to the front and opened the door. Sans stepped back when he saw who was at the door. "W-What do you want?"       "Sans  of course I'll always be here for you, I love you!" Sans eyes grew wide. He ran up to Carter and hugged him. He began to cry. "I-I thought you'd leave. Please don't leave me."
"Of course I won't. I'll be here for both you and the kids" Sans sobbed harder and Carter kissed the skeleton's head. The fox picked up Sans and carried him to his room. "W-what are you doing?" When they reached the room Carter later in bed with him. I'll stay here as long as I need to to show you how much I care.

Carter rolled up Sans's shirt and kissed his belly. "I can't wait until I get to hold you in my arms" the fox muttered to Sans's belly. Sans cried and Carter worriedly looked up at the skeleton. "Are you okay?"
"Pregnancy hormones, sorry.", "I'm just so happy". The small skeleton blushed.
