Lyra Mae Black didn't mean to fall in love with him, but she did. Because you can't help who you fall in love with, after all.
Lyra's relationship with James Potter was supposed to be just some fun, but it turned into something so much more. From the very beginning, Lyra knew there were risks and so did James. With Lyra's family and their beliefs, it could of ended so badly for Lyra - or even James.
As much as Sirius was disgusted by it, Lyra and James fell hard for each other.
No matter if it was purposeful or not, it happened anyway. And neither would change it for the world.
Lyra Black and James Potter had no fairytale story, but it was theirs. And it was perfect how it was.
