Chapter 10

Sasuke's pov

Before I entered I glanced back to my brother to see him smiling at me. He was watching me closely.

I wiped my eyes and entered my room once again softly closing the door to make as little noise as possible.

I slowly turned around hoping Neji had gone back to sleep but all hope had disappeared when I saw Neji sitting in the same spot I left him in.

He glanced around to see who came in the door. He didn't smile this time. Not as I thought he would. He was was sitting there with with seriousness crossing his features.

I frowned in confusion as I came around the bed. "What's wrong?" I asked curious.

"I couldn’t help but over hear your conversation." He said seriously. Hearing this news made my eyes snap open in fear. He would definitely get targeted now. He knew too much.

"How much?" I whispered my voice barely audible. He shook his head looking down. Not a word came out of his mouth. The longer he waited the harder my heart pounded.

He finally looked up as if ready to give me an answer. Except this time he was smiling. A frown started to form across my face. The fear never left my eyes however.

"You guys aren't very quiet. I'd be careful from now on." He said softly.

"So... you heard everything huh?" I asked him. Though it was more of a statement than a question.

He chuckled and patted the side of the bed next to him wanting me to sit. I complied. I didn't want to continue standing.

As soon as I sat down I felt him lay down and pull me down with him. Except he took the wall.

I gasped in surprise but let him continue to cover us with my blankets. He had wrapped his arm tightly around my stomach pulling me flushed up against him. I subconsciously snuggled back into him making him chuckle softly.

"I wont die that easily." I heard him whisper softly into the back of my hair. I questioned him as to why or how he knows this. But his answer was something I was not expecting.
"I'm in the same business as you."

"What?" I whispered in surprise. I turned around to face him only to regret it. My chest was pressed up against his and my legs intertwined with his so I was comfortable. My face was inches from his. He smiled at me knowingly.

I stared at his lips completely forgetting about my questions I had for him. Glancing back up at him I saw he was smiling amused.

My face grew hot once more. He closed his eyes and moved closer to me making my heart pound against my ribcage at an abnormal rate.

It seemed as if time was moving in slow motion as his face inched closer to mine. His lips had parted ever so slightly but just enough for mine to meet his.

I closed my eyes and slowly moved to meet his. At first it was soft and slow as we moved in sync. We molded perfectly. My hands clenched onto his shirt hem.

It slowly but surely turned into a slow passionate kiss. I had no idea when I had grown out of my nervousness but it was gone because I had slid my hand underneath his shirt and was running my hand up and down his abs softly. He skin was soft as his abs were hard and toned.

Perfect. It was the only thing able to describe him.

"We need sleep. We have school tomorrow." He said against my lips as he parted. My forehead pressed up against his. My eyes stayed closed because I knew I was going to blush fiercely if I opened them.

"Alright." I whispered agreeing with him. I turned around so my back was flushed against his. I snuggled back into him as he tightly wrapped his arm around my waist.  Our feet intertwined.

I think this was the first night I believed I didnt have the fear of getting a nightmare.
