Caring

Tangerine gold glimmered through the glassy window, specks of sunflower yellow splashed with floating cotton balls handing in ominous sky.

The unforgiving sun at the head of the universe and far from horizon made it clear that it was late noon, Karma fluttered opened her eyes, groaning as her body was squished under a heavy weight.

Her eyes widened in alarm when she saw something has made her body immobile only to raise her head a bit to see the luscious mop of black hair laying on her chest.

She didn't even need to think again because even if she was blind, only by smelling the mouthwatering smell she could have told that it was Alistair.

One of his muscular arms caged her waist while other was wrapped around one of her thighs making the girl involuntary blush like a tomato.

He seemed to have been in utter peace, his chest rhythmically rising and falling into a smooth pattern so she controlled her thoughts and threaded her fingers through the silky strands.

The room seemed to bring peace with grey walls with golden patterns in the vicinity and small moons hanging above the bed.

As soon as the sunlight reached past the threshold the window shuttered closed automatically with a glazed black glass blocking the harsh sunlight.

While observing everything Karma felt as if the world had come to a halt, the last thing she remembered was seeing Alistair coming out of the door and his lips moving and after that she could not evenshe recalled nothing.

"Baby?" Karma yelped in surprise when Alistair buried his face in her neck, warmth spreading throughout his body seeing her awake. He tightened his arms against her soft body making Karma suck a deep breath.

"Alistair" she whispered make a flustering mess out of herself.

"You scared me to death little girl." his arms held himself above her, not letting his whole weight fall on her petite body, watching the electrifying blue eyes in awe as she whimpered, tears gathering in her eyes.

Her hands wrapped around his torso as he pulled him back to her not caring if he crushed her.

"I am so sorry, I promise......" she hiccupped wide eyed.

"....I was stupid but I did not even thought about anyone else who is not you, I swear-"

"I know princess." he sat up slowly making her body rise with him in the process. He settled Karma on his lap who sniffled slowly making him frown.

"Baby listen..." his big palms cupped her tear stained cheeks, looking at the face which was so pale yesterday and his heart froze.

"don't torture yourself to this extent baby...what I did was not fine either and the fact that you accept your mistakes is fine, but baby you have not done a crime, you realized your mistake and you came running to me then and there, not like me who had lied for so many days, don't punish yourself like this babygirl.

What you did yesterday was life threatning baby, it breaks my heart that you treat yourself this way." his forehead rested against hers as more tears dribbled down her cheeks.

"I thought I lost you." her voice was low making him gather her in his arms more securely.

"You can never lose me. It will be a war and I will still come to you rising from my grave."she looked at him adorably, embracing the man tightly.

"You haven't eaten anything princess, lets get you stomach filled." When Alistair got up from the bed, the woman had her thighs wrapped around his torso, him supporting her ass, Alistair forced his mind to not go that way at all but god forbids, she was his.
