(Hi, I just kinda like this song. Not too correspondent with the story, but still a good song)
(Y/n's POV)
We all glared at the newcomer, some in hatred, some in curiosity, and others (me, in particular) in fear. My hand rested near Killua's back and I could tell that my newfound comfort around my new friends would be gone for a while. At least as long as Tonpa was with us.
Killua glanced at me warily, sensing my fear, however staying silent. I watched warily as Tonpa put on the last watch, hoping he wouldn't address me in any way, shape, or form.
We looked to the door, the Majority Rules rule already starting. It ended up four for opening the door and one against it. Tonpa said that he had accidentally pressed the wrong button, leading to Leorio yelling at him. I flattened my ears against my head and cowered as far from them as I could get, the yelling instantly terrifying me.
"USELESS! YOU CAN'T EVER DO ANYTHING I ASK! I DON'T KNOW WHY WE EVER KEPT A MONSTER LIKE YOU!" I shivered at the memory and rushed forward through the door, my mind and body both begging to get away. I soon arrived at a crossroads, where I decided to wait for everyone else. Soon enough, Killua arrived moments before the others. Once he saw me, the worried expression he had softened.
He walked over to me while the others debated which door to go through, the left or the right, he spoke to me. "Are you alright? Why'd you run off like that? I-if you don't mind me asking..." I was silent for a second before I spoke quietly, the quiet, high-pitched tone that I got whenever I was scared returning.
"I don't like yelling... or conflict between people I care about... the yelling spooked me, I guess." I told him. It was true, but it wasn't the whole story either. He smiled at me and walked with me back to the group instead of huddled in a corner, where I had something solid behind my back.
After some debate, we ended up going right. I stick close behind Killua and Gon, not wanting to leave the comfort of their presence. Soon, we arrived at a ledge. I looked over the edge, trying to see how far it was.
Well, that was a mistake.
I jumped back, grabbing Kurapika's arm. HOLY SHIT I'M GONNA DIE, my mind screamed. Kurapika stared at me for a second and then shook his head, deciding not to question me. "S-scary..." I murmured.
While I was freaking out, the examiner explained that we would be fighting against some of the prisoners. I glanced over to their side of the ledge, a strange feeling that was in between fear and pride taking over me.
If I'm being totally honest, I have basically no idea what happened next. All I know is that Gon and Kurapika won their matches, and Leorio was- oh- OH- I AM GOING TO KILL THAT SON OF A-
Killua looked over and noticed my growing agitation, glanced at Leorio, glanced back at me, then suddenly lunged at me. "NO KILLING LEORIO!" He shouted. I growled back at him and glared at Leorio. When he was... done... he walked back and noticed me being held down by both Killua and Kurapika.
"I WILL KILL YOU SOMEDAY LEORIO AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT." I screamed. Leorio shuddered and retreated to the back of the hallway.
"H-hey, Y/n... do you want to let out your anger at Leorio by beating a prisoner..?" Kurapika tried to reason with me. I paused, my expression going blank as I thought it over.
"Mm.... sure!" I smiled. My tail flicked back and forth with my newfound excitement. Unbeknownst to my new friends, I was actually really violent if you managed to make me really mad. This shocked them, making me laugh. "Be back in a few minutes~" I called as I walked to where I would be fighting whoever my opponent was.
