I walked through the club with Alexa, greeting the familiar people I'd see around. Things weren't going as bad as expected, thankfully I had my siblings by my side at all times, the thing that bothered me the most was having to live with my power-ridden father and being away from my friends.
Last night, I had seen Willie around but after leaving the stage, I was pulled by my father to talk to some people and ended up not being able to look for him. And right now, I had no time to look around before going on stage, since my father had put us on first, saying he'd have an amazing performance after and he wanted his children to be apart of it too. I didn't question it, I avoided the man as much as I could.
Getting into the black bralette and blue velvet shorts I had picked out earlier, I put some make up on and leave the room with Alexa and Kevin next to me after pulling my black boots on. Kevin leads us to the side of the stage and pats my shoulder before walking in and announcing our names.
"You look good sis" Alexa squeezes my hand and I admire her
The red dress hugged her body in all the right places, the red lace gloves and black knee boots finishing the look perfectly.
"You look beautiful Lex" I squeeze her hand back
I shake my arms, trying to losen up and as everyone starts cheering, we walk in with a smile. The truth was yes, we were unhappy to be here, I missed being able to sing and write with the boys and Julie but I liked that my siblings and I got to perform together and watch the crowd have fun. I just hated it had to be like this.
"How's everyone feeling tonight?" I hold the mic tightly and the people in front of me cheer
"Hope you're all having a good time" Alexa smiles widely "Let's get this party started huh?!"
The music starts playing, a small smile on my face as the crowd cheers when I start singing.
