You weren't awake.
Surrounding you was nothing but an endless void, coiling and tightening around you, like a python. You breath came out irregularly slow..heavy. Any attempt to move was met with nothing in return; you couldn't move, couldn't call for help, couldn't even move a muscle. It was..terrible to say the least. It made your mouth dry with anticipation.
A cold chill ran down your spine, you swear you saw something in the distance. Something going to kill you? More likely! ...But it just stayed there.Your mind went into a whirl. Who is that? Am I going to die? Is this just a dream? Is this actually happening?
The figure drew close and you shook-sweat trailed down your back and your hairs raised.
Then you regained feeling, your body feeling lighter as the void was swept away by light.Dazed and weak, you squinted and frowned at nothing in particular. That..was new, it could've been a dream but..why? You haven't had a single dream in this place until now.
You whinged to yourself and slowly looked around as your head drummed and throbbed with pressure. Standing on your legs was fine and easy to do, it was finding out what to do now that stumped you.
A thoughtful expression was plastered on your face as you considered your options: to go back to scp-049 and 035 along with Lisa was the best option-but who's to say they waited or were trying to find you? As much as it pained you to think you'd been abandoned;you knew they were still trying to escape themselves.
You took a steps forwards and immediately almost fell forwards, your body panicked and quickly made you force your other foot forwards to catch yourself. Even from something so small, your heart palpitated.
Taking a few deep breaths, you tried to calm yourself to the best of your abilities, barely holding back the urge to collapse and fall asleep again-just anything to get away from this. But you knew you have been lucky so far; you needed to try.
You succeeded in limping your way out of the free space agonisingly-though much to the dismay of your now weakened body; it seemed like it was on fire.
You made sure to be patient and slowly work your way down the hall-the silence loud and climate thick with fear as it accompanied you during your less than peaceful walk.
The silence wasn't reassuring.Footsteps echoed and pulsed as the sound of crying eventually came through and broke the silence-making you stop and nervously avert your eyes to the closed door in front of you. The door beckoned you forwards, almost with urgency, and the crying got louder as you closed in.
You lightly pressed the button to the side and sucked in a gulp of air as a tall, pale, lanky figure disrupted your vision. You swiftly looked down after noticing that it was facing away from you-you almost crying with relief. Of course it was 096, why didn't you realise sooner! You could've died! Torn to shreds!
096's crying increased tenfold as you slowly shuffled across the room while sticking to the wall like glue-cold sweat beading at your forehead as your eyes kept to the floor.
The creature's skeletal feet-abnormal and bloody-were the main reassurance you had that 096 was not moving from the place it was standing. Whatever was in the sky was merciful today. You exited the room as quickly as you could, cold chills running down your spine as you let out a strangled breath and went on your merry way. The corridors grew dimmer as you clutched the keycard you held like it were a lifeline-because it was-but you weren't even sure if this was enough to your ticket of freedom. You hated that thought.
Your mind eventually numbed into a blank state-your body on autopilot as the grey walls took up most of your vision and lulled your senses to nothing. Silence. But this time it wasn't the same feeling of doubt and fear that accompanied you; peace, calm, serenity were a few words that could describe what you felt. Surprisingly.
You strained your ears at the sound of distant screaming and blinked as a flash of yellow and red whizzed past you..high pitch noises rattling from the flashes. You stopped, whatever it was had backed up in an attempt to get to you before finally being able to circle at your feet.
Tear drop shaped, gleaming eyes..the eye pods! You crouched and pet the two Scps as they crooned and stared up at you.
"Hey little guys.." you smiled. It was just like having a pet run up to you-but with two anomalies.
This means they could help you, either with getting out alone or finding Lisa, 049 and 035.
Honestly, you weren't sure about what you wanted anymore.
