A difficult relationship is like the calm before an unknown storm
The storm can bring many things, pain, sorrow, self-hate
But in a relationship, it is both of you against the problem not you both against each other
Being outside
Right before a storm
Known or not
It's always the calmest then
The snow was perfect
The icicles untouched
But the unknown storm
Doesn't have to bring more snow and pile it on
They could be the person with a shovel
Telling you that they are making a path for both of you to walk on together
They say this while they ruin your perfect snow and break all the perfect icicles
They say this while they try to make you summer
Letting people that have shovels in is like letting in an angel
They might look holy
And kind
And loyal
But in the end
There is always something about you that people will not like
Something they wish to change
