"Thank God, I've taken my umbrella with me," Jin said as he unlocked the door to the cafe and came inside. He shook it so the water fell down and looked around.

The coffee shop was cosy and small, the walls were painted with brown colour. Chairs and tables were wooden and in the middle of every single one, there was a vanilla-scented candle. He loved working here.

Before he could open, he had to put the chairs down, take out the cakes and mentally prepare himself to deal with people, which was the hardest thing.

He lit up a few candles and changed the door sign from 'closed' to 'opened' just when the clock struck 2 PM. Then he wrapped an apron with his tag around his torso.

It was a workday, Monday to be exact, and he didn't expect plenty of customers. He knew that probably a few regulars would show up, maybe some students but that'd be all.

He sat down behind the counter and waited if anyone shows up. He looked out the window and sighed.

The raindrops drummer against the sill. They were pouring down the window frame, making the view outside blurry. Almost all the people outside had an umbrella above their heads, creating a field full of colours. Although it was raining, the street was still busy. Honking and the sound of car engines could be heard.

Jin smiled. He loved days like this.

Suddenly the door opened, which made him wake up from his thoughts. He looked at the person, who just entered.

Jin stopped breathing for a second when he saw the handsome features of the stranger, who just came into the coffee shop. It was a tall, black-haired man in his twenties and he was wearing a dark coat with fur on top and a suit under it. He closed his brown umbrella and walked up to the counter.

Jin realised that he was probably staring at the man for way too long and hoped that the stranger hadn't seen him. He tugged his short hair behind his ears and stood up from his chair but his legs felt like they were made out of jello.

"H-hello, what would you like to order?" Seokjin mentally slapped himself for the stuttering.

"Hello, one Americano, please," the tall stranger said in a deep voice and the boy behind the counter could swear that those were butterflies in his stomach. The taller handed him the money for the coffee.

Jin took it, his hands a bit shaky.

"To go?" He asked while putting the coins to the cash desk. The taller nodded.

"Get yourself together, man," he whispered to himself when he turned away to prepare the order.

Usually, he makes a small talk with the customers but not today. He didn't dare to turn and face the man on the other side of the counter. He watched the machine nervously, while the room began to fill with awkward silence.

When the coffee was done, he turned around and gave the handsome stranger his order, while wondering if he would ever see him again.

And when the man left, he took Jin's heart with him...

The rest of the day went pretty fast. And when Jin lied in his bed that evening, his mind began to wander to the black-haired man again. There was something interesting about him. He was thinking about 'what if's - 'What if he shows up tomorrow? What would he do? Or worse... what if he doesn't?'

Seokjin rubbed his forehead. He should had asked for his number.

The next day he went to his work with hope - hope that he'd show up. He wasn't sure what he would do if it happened because his self-confidence was low and around him, it seemed to be nonexistent but if he doesn't see him, he would be probably sad for the rest of his life.

When the clock struck 2 PM, he unlocked the door and sat behind the counter, hypnotising the front door.

In the morning, he had washed his hair, cut his nails and even washed his apron. He had also paid extra attention to his clothing under it and used a little bit of make-up. He had applied his favourite perfume. If the man showed up, he'd be at least cute...

And that became his routine. It had been a week and since then he came every single day. Jin even took more shifts and skipped a couple of classes at school just to take this man's order.

There was still a fear in his heart that he'd eventually stop showing up but he always did. And it was still the same order.

He 'blamed' the delicious coffee but deep down he hoped that the man comes there so often because of him.

Every day he tried to make a small talk with the stranger while preparing his orders but he still felt very nervous around him. Anxiety filled his heart every time he was thinking about asking at least for his name. He overthought every move, every choice of his when it came to the stranger. He didn't want to push him away.

That day was nice. The sun was up in the sky, accompanied by only a few small clouds. Thanks to that there was no need to turn the lights in the coffee shop.

Jin was once again sitting on the chair, his leg bouncing as he was anxiously watching the clock move.

Jungkook, his classmate and friend was sitting nearby, staring at the older boy.

"Don't worry, he'll come."

Seokjin turned his head and his gaze fell on the latter. He sighed quietly.

"What if he doesn't? I mean... it's already 2:20 and he hasn't come yet. He always comes at 2:10."

"Stop overthinking. Maybe he's just stuck in a traffic jam or something, Hyung," Jungkook caressed Jin's hair to comfort him.

"Oh my god, what if something bad happened? What if he got into a car accident?"

The younger sighed.

"Nothing happened. He's fine. I'm sure he will come in a while."

Jin breathed out.

"I am overreacting, aren't I?"

Jungkook nodded.

The door opened and both boys rose their heads. Jin's heart started beating faster when he saw the familiar face. He wanted to run to his arms and hug him.

He got up and smiled at the taller male.

"Let me guess? One Americano to go?" Jin said already taping on the screen to print his receipt.

"And your phone number."

Jin officially stopped thinking. Not that he ever had a brain but now he stopped functioning. His two last brain cells were panicking.

The butterflies in his stomach began to fly again and pink coated his cheeks. His heart stopped beating for a few seconds.

Seokjin blinked a few times, being absolutely speechless but a happy expression appeared on his face.

The man in front of him smiled at the reaction of the other.

"O-okay," fell out of Jin's mouth and he started to make the coffee. His mind was so focused on what the man had said, he forgot to take the money from him.

He wrote his name and his number on the cup and handed him his order.

"Here you go...?"

"Namjoon," the latter added and smiled at the pink-haired boy in front of him.

"Here you go, Namjoon."

The taller took his cup and left the cafe.

When Jin made sure the other can't see him anymore, he jumped a few times and did his 'victory' dance, while giggling and smiling like an idiot. And that expression didn't leave his face for the rest of the day...

Jin looked at Taehyung, who was smiling at him.

"And that is how dada met papa..."
