It was around four in the evening that I woke up to get ready for tonight. I didn't know where we were going. Where my father planned to take us out for dinner. He rarely does that, I think he doesn't do that unless it's an important event. I decided to dress casual, jeans and a sweater and my trench coat. I walked out of the bedroom to see that my mum, Aaron and my father was waiting for me. Aaron was dressed in a black hoodie and black ripped jeans. My mum was dressed in a long jean skirt and a turtleneck. My father was wearing his business suit and had a trench coat over it.

"Come on. Let's go." My father ushered us to the elevator. We made it to the lobby and Mr. Son was already waiting for us by the car. We got in and he began driving us to the restaurant. Throughout the ride, there was only silence. I was busy texting Noah, telling him how awkward and awful this dinner is going to be. My brother was busy playing games; My mother was just staring out the window and my father as usual was on his phone too, replying business emails. The only good thing was that Noah made me smile all the way until we reached the restaurant.

I stepped out immediately hating the cold breeze that slapped me in the face. The restaurant was nothing fancy. It was just a place where businessmen came to have meetings with each other and have dinner at the same time. The inside was completely grand tho. There was a big ass crystal chandelier hanging on top of the ceiling. Chatter filled the restaurant. Men dressed in suits and women dressed in their evening finest were there. My family except my father felt out of place.

He didn't ask us to dress up or even tell us to shop for clothes. Bastard.

"Honey, don't you think the three of us are a little underdressed?" My mum asked my dad.

"It's fine, Cecelia." He answered my mum. A waitress came and my father said that he already had a reservation booked under his name. The waitress spoke into her earpiece and nodded. She then ushered us to our private room. She gave us the menus and introduced herself as Suzy and that she'll be serving us tonight. All the while I couldn't help but notice my father sneaking glances towards her and Suzy couldn't help but always look at him and smile flirtatiously.

Seriously?! Bitch. His family is right here.

We quickly placed our orders and Suzy left. The room feel into silence as everyone was busy with their phones again. I was busy texting Noah telling him how awkward this family dinner is.

This dinner is so awkward.

I seriously hate him. He's making goo goo eyes with the waitress in front of my mum and us.

He seriously needs help 🙄

Noah didn't reply though. He must be still busy with work. I'm curious to what he does. He says he owns a few hotels and clubs both here and back in the States. I wonder which hotels he owns. Seeing as he can afford an i8 and his apartment. Plus his parents passed away when he was young. So everything he owns now, he got it from his hard work. Just admirable. Thinking about it makes my heart flutter. I can't believe this guy is mine! The waitress came back with our food. My father decided to finally put down his phone and talk to his family, unfortunately he started with me.

"So, Lia. How are classes?" My father asked.

"Fine." I twirled my spaghetti on my fork.

"Did you visit the places you wanted to visit here?" He asked some more trying to make more small talk.

"I still haven't gone to Namsan Tower at night yet. To see the lights." I don't know why I'm entertaining him. He doesn't care. He only shows up when it's night time.
