𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝘇𝗲 | Nagisa Shingetsu x OC/Reader

Chapter 1

Previously on 'A Starlit Gaze'...

The door to the headquarters creaked open. A petite figure was standing on the other side of the door, all that was shown to the children was a leg peaking out. Everyone had come to a halt as Masaru broke the silence. "Oi! Who's there?!" Masaru yelled out in the direction of the door. They waited for a response but the figure stood still. "I won't hesitate to break your jaw!" Masaru shouted once again. At that, the figure jolted up straight and immediately revealed themself. They ambled inside the building, making sure not to cross any metaphorical boundaries.

"O-oh um... Hey..." The figure awkwardly chuckled and waved at the children. 

 It appeared to be a girl with purple hair that didn't quite reach her waist, a neat braid connecting to a ponytail on her right-side and a streak of blonde hair next to where the braid starts. She also had a small, swirly ahoge poking out of her head. She sported a light blue sailor uniform which was under her light maroon jacket accompanied by a black skirt and thigh-high socks. Her purple boots tapped the floor gently as she took a step forward.

Kotoko sported a confused look on her face as she called out to the figure. 

"N-Nozomi?! W-what are you doing here?!"

 Kotoko almost squealed as she ran over to the girl, tackling her in a hug. "Huh? U-UWAAAH" Nozomi let out a shriek as she was pushed down to the floor in a hug by Kotoko. "H-hey Kotoko! I didn't expect to see you here! Erm.. well I did actually." The girl sheepishly rubbed her head. "Nozomi, why are you here?" Kotoko got off of the poor girl. She dusted her own clothes and supported Nozomi to her feet.

"Um well..." She turned towards the rest of the Warriors of hope and bowed down. "My name is Nozomi Murakami, the Li'l Ultimate Lunch Break! It's nice to meet you, heroes!" Nozomi flashed an elegant smile and put her hand up in a 'V' pose.

"Speak of the devil..." Jataro muttered in shock.

Monaca was very displeased by how things were turning out but she couldn't let her cheery facade down, well, not now at least. "Welcome to the headquarters of the Warriors Of Hope! I'm Monaca!". She threw her hands in the air and had a fake smile plastered on her face. Everyone had been quietly staring at the mysterious girl until Monaca gave them the cue to start introducing themselves to their dubious guest.

Masaru proudly placed his hand on his chest, "I'm the super-duper leader that unites the Warriors of Hope with a bang! Masaru Daimon! My special subject was P.E. so they called me Li'l Ultimate P.E. I'm the king of P.E. which means I can do every exercise ever! Oh and I'm the leader of the Hero class and as Hero and the leader, I'm gonna be the new ruler of this town!".

"Eh? Don't act so high and mighty, you became the leader only because you won a game of rock, paper, scissors!" Kotoko pointed out in an annoyed tone. If you could hear someone rolling their eyes then you would know that Kotoko did so with an exasperated tone. Her expression changed as fast as you would slip whilst standing on a smooth surface as her face had a cheery smile shortly after she called out Masaru. She turned towards Nozomi and began her introduction.

"Well, I guess it's time for my adorbs introduction even though you already know me." Kotoko giggled and stuck out her tongue cutely. "I'm Kotoko Utsugi! As you know, I adoooore things that are totes adorbs! Haha, didn't that kinda rhyme?" Kotoko chuckled at her own words. "I'm the head of the Fighter class, yeah you might've thought that a boy is the fighter but nope! It's me!" Kotoko pointed at herself proudly. "I used to be called Li'l Ultimate Drama but that was a long time ago so let's forget about that." She winked at Nozomi.
