The gaang and I settled near a secluded hot spring, where we believed was a safe place from being spotted by the Fire Nation.

"Aang," Toph says. "I know swimming is fun and all but do you really think you should be exposing yourself like that? Cover up."

"What?" Aang responds. "I'm wearing trunks."

"She knows," I call out.

"It's your tattoos I'm worried about," Toph says. "What if someone sees you?"

"There are walls all around us," Katara says. "It's completely safe."

"You look cute." Sokka compliments, snaking his arms around my waist from behind and kissing my shoulder.

"Thanks." I turn around. "And you look cute with your hair down."

Suddenly an idea popped in my head.

"Hey, Babe." I batter my eyelashes.

"What is it?" Sokka sighs knowing I was up to something.

"Can I please braid your hair?"

"What!" Sokka exclaims.

"For me please." I whine, poking my bottom lip out.

"Fine." Sokka groans.

I kissing his cheek. "Sit down."

I started to braid his hair.

"Owe! Be careful. Stop tugging so hard."

"Stop, whining kid," I scold. "Almost done."

"Aw, you look so cute." I say pecking his lip over and over.

Night started to fall as we all went to sleep. Sokka and I cuddled up on the blanket.

"Guys, you're all gonna think I'm crazy but it feels like a metal man is coming."

I feel Sokka shift from under me as he shakes me a bit, waking me up.

"What's going on?" I ask.

A light then beamed on Aang, waking him up.

We all looked up at the shining light, there stood a man on top of the wall as he fired a huge explosion at us.

We threw a few attacks at him but he ended up blowing them up. We quickly retreated, hopping on Appa and hoping to find a better hiding spot.

"There it is," Aang says. "That's Roku's home."

"But there's nothing here." Katara says once we landed on the ground.

"Yes, there is," Toph objects. "An entire village. Hundreds of houses. All completely buried in ash."

"So, there's nothing here?" I mutter.

We all made it to a cliff above the water as Aang mediated. We watched over his body. Once Aang returned he told us everything that had happened.

"You mean, after all Roku and Sozin went through together, even after Roku showed him mercy, Sozin betrayed him like that?" Katara asked.

"It's like these people are born bad."

"No," Aang responds. "That's wrong. I don't think that was the point of what Roku showed me at all."

"Then what was the point?" Sokka asked.

"Roku was just as much Fire Nation as Sozin was, right?"

"Right?" I respond still confused.

"If anything, their story proves anyone's capable of great good and great evil. Everyone, even the Fire Lord and the Fire Nation have to be treated like they're worth giving a chance. And I also think it was about friendships."

"Do you really think friendships can last more than one lifetime?" Toph asked.

Aang grabbed Toph's hand. "I don't see why not." He responded.

Katara held hands with Toph, as I held Katara's hand.

"Well," Sokka rubbed his chin. "Scientifically speaking, there's no way to prove that-"

"Oh, Sokka," I scold. "Just hold hands."

He quickly grabbed my hand kissing it.
