Marinette ran into a warehouse where Joker was currently located. "Well if it isn't my beloved sister! How are ya Sugar?" Joker greeted, with a kinda creepy smile etched onto his face. "I-I h-he we." Mari stuttered breaking out into a fit of tears again at the memory of what just happened.

"What happened?" "We're over." She whispered loud enough for him to catch. "How dare he break your heart!" Joker growled. "No, I think I broke his."

This left her brother confused.

"You ended it? Then why are you crying?" Joker sat down next to the sobbing woman. "His family. They don't like me and I clearly shouldn't be there." Marinette's tears dropped onto the engagement ring, and it reminded her to take it off. She tugged and set it in her pocket.

"You're way too good for them anyways Mare." Joker rubbed her back while she leaned into him.

The boys had smiles on their faces after watching that 'gold digger' run off. But it was quickly erased after seeing the angry look on Bruce's face.

"What got into you guys!" Bruce seethed at the 4 boys who weren't so happy with themselves now. "We helped you!" Jason countered, a bit unsure, but covered it up nonetheless. "Helped me?" He scoffed "HELPED ME? Marinette was the best thing to happen to me! I proposed to her! I love her and she is different from other people who just want my money! It's sad that you guys as detectives couldn't see that." Bruce glared them down.

"You actually love her father?" Damian spoke up. "Yes Damian I do. She used to be bullied and everything you said didn't help. It probably brought back bad memories." Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I can't believe we did that." Dick looked down. "Let's get her back, we need to apologize." Tim stood up then remembered he didn't have any clue of her location. "Where is she?"

"She's probably at Joker's warehouse."

"WHAT?" They exclaimed, very confused. Why would she go there? Is she mentally insane. Maybe they did the right thing of scaring her off.

"Joker is Marientte's brother." Bruce explained while getting up to go.

"Wait then why did she let him kill Jason?" Tim asked.

"I believe I can answer that Master Tim." Alfred was wiping down the table. "Miss Marinette was very mad at Joker after that incident and she beat him black and blue. Plus the young woman wouldn't talk to him for a year."

"Wow, I couldn't imagine not talking to you guys for a year." Dick looked at his brothers, giving them a small smile.

"I could. I'd love that. You know what to get me for Christmas." Damian said ignoring the groan from the eldest.

"Come on let's go boys."

All of them piled into the limo and went down to the warehouse. The big door was opened just enough for them to squeeze through.

"Darling!" Bruce cried out seeing her face. It was red and blotchy from the crying, but he still thought she was stunning. "Bruce! What are you doing here?" She sniffled, shrinking into herself more.

"Yeah what ARE you doing here?" Joker wrapped an arm around his sister protectively. "Look it's the brats that broke Mari's heart." He spat at the boys who had a look of guilt on their faces.

Dick was the first one to step up. "Look Marinette, we messed up. We thought you were just like another girl who Bruce brought back., but it's clear you're different and we shouldn't have acted like that to you. I'm really sorry."

Soon after Jason, Tim, and Damian also apologized making the bluenette feel better.

Finally it was Bruce's turn. He took her hands into his and wiped a stray tear that lingered on her cheek. His touch made her face tingle, in a good way.

"I really love you Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Please don't leave me."

"I would never." Her eyes glistened and they're lips met, moving in sync. Before Bruce could enjoy it more, they realized they were in a room with people. Who he kinda wished would disappear right now.

"How about we all get ice cream." Tim suggested. "Yeah! On Dick!" Jason added on and almost everyone agreed. "Hey!" Dick protested, crossing his arms. "Sorry, you're outnumbered Grayson." Damian walked back to the vehicle, it made Marinette giggle as she was squished into Bruce's embrace.

Turns out Marinette wasn't a bad person. All the boys ended up loving her and they wanted to protect her with everything they had, but then found out that she could do it for herself.😉
