It was a normal day in Bygone Island, the Sonic Gang were just chilling on the beach. Sticks and Knuckles were just playing volleyball, Sonic and Amy were just resting under the shade, Keila was napping under shade next to Sonic and (Y/N) was doing (random activity).

Sonic: There's nothing like a lay day on the beach.

(Y/N): Yep.

The volleyball went near Amy so she picked it up and tossed it to Sticks, she caught it and let out a sigh of relief as she is calm.

Sticks: It's nice to breathe in that beautiful salt water air and relax. For the first time(FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVERRRRR~), I feel totally stress-free.

(Y/N) smiles at Sticks since (she/they/he) mainly see Sticks paranoid and it was nice to see them not going crazy about something like aliens. Her stress-free ended when Tails came in with a new invention.

Tails: Hey guys.

Sticks lets out a cry and gets in a stance while Tails is coming in with a new invention.

Tails: I had just perfected my most brilliant invention yet! Meet U.T, the universal translator designed to translate any language into our own!

Everyone but (Y/N) and Keila, who was still napping and somewhat cuddling Sonic, just stared at it blankly.

Tails: Allow me to demonstrate.

He pointed to a couple birds and U.T translated their chirps.

U.T: The fact that you pre-chew my food is repulsive.

Knuckles: Hey, it works!

U.T: Didn't see that one coming.

Knuckles: Um, it's still talking.

U.T: I thought this thing just translated birds.

(Y/N): He did say, "Universal Translator", meaning it could translate any language into our own.

U.T: Your IQ confuses me sometimes.

Knuckles: What does that mean?

U.T: What is an IQ?

Tails: Since what you're saying doesn't need to be translated, he's translating into what it really means.

U.T: I didn't intend for it to do that but I will gladly accept full credit

(Y/N): That's impressive!

U.T: You never fail to surprise me you two-tailed cutie. (You have known them for a couple weeks now okay?)
