"Yeah... I hope so too."

Third Person POV
"You're up early today, lady (y/n)."
(Y/n) jolted in her spot and almost dropped the bag of rice she was holding from the sudden voice. Hamamura entered the kitchen area of the palace, watching the young royal scrambling around the mess of ingredients.
"Ah Hamamura-san! You scared me..." The (h/l)-haired female placed a hand on her chest and let out a deep exhale.
Hamamura approached her master with a kind smile and took the bag off of her hands. She then proceeded to pour the rice in a separate bowl and put the bag away before (y/n) could make more of a mess.
"So what's the special occasion?" The servant asked as she began to wash the grain and the (e/c)-eyed female sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck.
"Nothing really, I just wanted to make something. That's all..." (y/n) shrugged and grabbed some other ingredients lying around.
"As much as I want to believe that to be true, this is your fifth month in a row in which you spent your days in the kitchen," the older lady chuckled, drained the rice and moved the bowl over a small fire pit, "And no offense to you, lady (y/n), but you've never even step foot in here before then."
"E-Eh, is that so?" (Y/n) sheepishly accepted that fact and poured some water into the bowl of cooking rice.
"So would you like to tell me the truth now?" Hamamura asked as she patted off her kimono and hands before turning to the young female.
"I just wanted to make onigiri," (y/n) avoided the servant's stare and continued to make the filling.
"Let me guess," Hamamura sent her a knowing grin, "For Sukuna?"
(Y/n) froze in her spot before sending Hamamura a bashful smile, "Is it that obvious?"
Hamamura laughed heartily in agreement as (y/n) whined to stop mocking her. (Y/n) pouted, thinking that her efforts were in vain, but Hamamura rested a hand on her shoulder for reassurance.
"I'm glad you're working hard," the servant spoke softly and the (h/c)-haired girl stopped whatever she was doing prior, "But I do have to ask... are you interested in him, lady (y/n)?"
"Hm?" (Y/n) rose an eyebrow in confusion and tilted her head, "Not any more than friends... why do you ask?"
"Well... your marriage is happening in three months," Hamamura frowned and (y/n)'s (e/c) eyes wavered for a split second, "And I don't mind if you decide Geto isn't the one for you... but if you do decide on Sukuna, I want you to be careful, okay?"
"What do you mean?" (Y/n) furrowed her eyebrows- almost upset that Hamamura would even say such things.
"It's just that..." Hamamura trailed off as if she was pondering how to structure her sentence before giving up with a sigh, "There will be many ups and downs and I don't want you to end up getting hurt in the process."
"Why would I end up getting hurt?" (Y/n) questioned suspiciously- at this point, she believed that everyone in this palace was treating her like a child. Her father does so everyday, but first Geto and now Hamamura?
