Peridot had one thing that made so many fond of her , her genuine, bright smile and her dorky laugh. She could make anyone's day even on accident. Many loved this in her; Lapis, her roommate, was no different. In fact, as she grew feelings for the short nerd, that distinguishing fact was what made her the lightest inside to where she could just forget all her worries and melt into conversations with the other. That was something she always was determined to protect, Peridot's happiness. However, life doesn't always goes as planned and when that smile is put to the rest, Lapis has to try and put her own traumas aside to help the small girl smile once again.
