With a little bit of fine tuning, you can make any motto your own.
"It's all in the past" "Forgive and forget"
Those were the words I stuck by, the advice I'd give to others when someone wronged them.
But now that it happened to me...
I learned it's not that easy.
I'll never forget
I'll never forget walking into my house that day
Seeing her on the floor
The words that came out of my mouth as I sung to her in her final moments
The only tear that I cried since I was a child rolling down my cheek
Standing up and seeing his face.
The face of the man who had just ruined my perfect life.
And I'll never forget what I said to him.
"I won't kill you, but so mark my words I will make your life a living hell. And that, is a promise."
In that moment, I felt so powerful yet so helpless at the same time.
Like everything had just toppled down on me.
I thought, what did I do to deserve this?
What did they do to deserve this?
They didn't do anything wrong.
They just, existed.
Why in the hell would someone want to hurt someone who didn't do a single shitty thing in their
life?
But it was obvious.
That's just the way the world is.
