Surprise Update!

Before we proceed reading on this part, let us please greet first our lead man character here. Today is his birthday! Happy Birthdaaaay, Victor! I decided to write this part out of nowhere, so here's a short update about Rofe and Victor's life.  Enjoy reading!

"Is everything okay? Sana naman hindi na palpak itong surprise ko sa kanya." sabi ko kay Akiks.

Andito kami ngayon sa studio type apartment ko para mag-ayos ng surprise for Victor. Today is his birthday at ngayon ko na lang siya ulit isusurprise. Hopefully hindi na epic fail.

Dalawang beses ko na siyang sinurprise, pero always epic fail. The first one is nung birthday niya, it's his first birthday na icecelebrate namin so I decided to surprise him kaso epic. And the second one is nung first anniversary namin, and it fails too. After noon, di ko na siya sinurprise ulit, ngayon na lang ulit kaya sana ma-surprise talaga siya.

"Yes, my dear Rofe. Anong oras ba pupunta dito si kuya?" she asked me.

"3pm daw e." sagot ko habang tinitingnan ang mga pictures namin ni Victor na nakalaylay sa helium balloons.

"Malapit na." usal pa niya.

"Yeah, mag-memessage yun pag nasa labas na siya." sabi ko pa.

Nagligpit kami ng kalat namin habang naghihintay. Maya-maya pa ay tumunog na ang cellphone ko.

I checked it and it was a message from Victor saying na nasa labas na daw siya.

"Nasa labas na si kuya mo, Akiks. Susunduin ko na. Ready ah? Patugtog kana pag open ko ng door." paalala ko sa kanya.

"Noted po. Sige na. Ako na bahala dito." sabi pa niya at ako naman ay bumaba na para masundo si Victor sa labas.

"Hi love! Happy Birthday!" bati ko sa kanya pag bukas ko ng gate.

"Thank you, love." he said as he pulled me into a hug and kiss my head.

"Tara na sa taas." sai ko at inaya na siya pataas ng hagdan.

The moment I open the door of my studio sakto na nag-play ang theme song namin. I looked at Victor and it seems like he is surprised based on his reaction.

Oh, thanks God!

"Surprise, love! Happy Birthday. I love you!" I giggled and hugged him.

"Thank you, love! I love you so much. Na-surprise ako, akala ko di mo na ako isusurprise ulit dahil sabi mo laging epic fail e." he chuckled.

"But at least, hindi na epic fail ngayon ang surprise ko diba?"

"Yeah.." usal pa niya bago tiningnan yung mga pictures namin.

Habang tinitingnan niya yung mga pictures namin ay kinuha ko naman yung cake na binili ko na nakapatong sa bed side table ko.

"Happy Birthday, love. Make a wish!" sabi ko sa kanya habang hawak ang cake.

He closed his eyes for a moment and after that he blows the candle na nasa cake.

"I love you so much, love." he whispered, but enough for me to hear those words.

"And I love you more..."

He gave me soft kiss habang hawak ko pa rin ang cake. Thank God, hindi ko nabitawan dahil sa panlalambot ko dahil sa halik niya.

"And happy birthday, my dearest kuya!" biglang sulpot ni Akiks sa kung saan.

Victor's forehead creased as he looked at Akiks, "Kaya pala di ka mahanap sa bahay dahil andito ka."
