Part 25 Promise Me

I smiled as I woke up feeling the warm cosy cuddle of an arm around my waist and the body tight against me, and I could hear the alarm going off "Ummm Benny, Time to wake up" I smiled moving my shoulder where he rested his head as we were cuddling in the night

"Ughhh no," He groans holding me tightly "Can we cuddle a little longer?"

"Fine benny, but turn the alarm off"

"Ummm you do it"

"It's on your side of the bed"

"Can't you just climb over me honeybunny?"

"Not unless you let go of me"

"I don't wanna let go of you"

"Well you have to if you want the alarm off"

"Fine" He sighed sitting up and turning off the alarm "Umm good morning y/n"

"Good morning benny, Coffee?"

"Umm that would be heavenly honeybunny"

"Then you have to let me go if you want coffee"

"No, I wanna hold you a little more," He says

"But I want an apple juice"

"Fine, come on let's get up then" He sighed sitting up again and stretching as he got up slipping his robe on "You coming?" He asks

"No, five more minutes" I smiled

"Ohh no you don't" He sighed "I have to get up, you have to get up" he says pulling the covers off me and lifting me up like a princess

"Nooooo! Benny!" I whine kicking as he carried me to the cosy leather chair

"Apple juice?"

"Yes please Benny" I smiled

"Alright, One second" He smiled kissing my head going to make himself a coffee and doing me some apple juice and he came over sitting beside me on the chair as we had gotten very used to getting cosy in this chair together

"What's the plan today?" I asked

"Speed chess."

"Okay" I smiled nuzzling into his neck trying to get back to sleep

"Hey! You woke me up remember?" he laughs before sipping his coffee "Oww... change of plan. I need to go shopping because that milk is off" he complained getting up and throwing the coffee and milk down the sink he went to the bedroom getting dressed and when he returned he slipped on his jacket and got his wallet "I won't be long honeybunny" he explained

"Are you sure you have to go benny?"

"I'm sure y/n, don't worry I won't be long" He says "Here keep hold of this and as soon as I get back we'll cuddle up and play speed chess okay" he smiled putting his robe over my shoulders

"You promise?" I asked

"I promise" He smiled giving my cheek a kiss "You promise you wont open the door to anyone? No matter what they say? No matter what happens?" he asks and I nodded

"I promise" I smiled

"Good girl, see you later Honey Bunny" He smiled kissing my lips sweetly before he headed out the door.

I sat fiddling with the chess pieces waiting for Benny to get back, as I sat in my usual nightie and Benny's robe around me, hugging it close to both keep me warm and because it felt like he was giving me a big hug. I was suddenly awoken from my thoughts by the ringing of the phone. I wanted to ignore it but something told me... I had to answer. I picked up the phone slowly putting it to my ear listening to the sounds on the other line. Breathing, fast paced and yet quiet as if they were hiding

"Y/n?" His voice asked seeming strained and teary

"Benny?" I asked "Benny what's wrong?" I asked

"Please Y/n. I haven't got long" He says pausing a moment "Look there are going to be some men coming to the house. You have to Promise me no matter what happens No matter what you hear No matter what they do. You do not open that door" He says

"Ohh Okay, I won't open the door" I nodded slightly confused and worried by his rushed words

"No, Y/n you have to promise me"

"Okay, I promise benny"

"Okay..." He says sounding sad a choked back tear in his voice "and I need you to Promise me, that You won't do what they want"

"Do what? Who wants? Benny what are you talking about?"

"Please, Just Promise me"

"I promise" I agreed

"Just uhhh... Look after the place okay. And yourself. I... I really, Care about you" He says

"I will benny, I care about you too so... Please what's going on?"

"I can't tell you." He says the sound of fighting back tears in his voice "But just remember.... So long as you're safe. I'm happy." He says "And I'm so sorry y/n" He says "Just Stay safe and be happy, For me You promise?" He says

"I promise" I said back I heard him sniffle clearly wiping away tears
