"Yes JJ?" I asked as I felt a rubber band hit the back of my head for the seventh time.
"Are you done yet?" He whined.
Sighing, I made a note of where I was in the textbook before turning to face him laying on my bed. He had a cute little pout on his face making me want to go join him, but I knew that if I wanted my grade in English to go up then I had to at least finish this chapter.
"J, baby, I just gotta finish this chapter at least before I join you."
"But- but, I just want your cuddles."
"Give me 15 minutes JJ, then I'll come join you. Okay?" I said, giving in to him.
"M'kay," he hummed.
Blowing him a kiss, I turned back towards my book trying to focus on the paragraphs in front of me.

"It's been 15 minutes now," JJ said very matter of factly.
I had one more paragraph left to go through, so I ignored him. Clearly, he was done waiting though as I heard him get up and his footsteps neared me.
Spinning my chair around, he wrapped one arm under my legs and the other behind my back before lifting me out of my chair in a bridal hold.
"You told me 15 minutes, I gave you 15 minutes. Now you're coming with me."
Laughing, I snuggled into his chest as he placed us down on my bed. Rolling on top of me so that he was lying comfortably with his head on my chest. Reaching around him, I pulled the comforter to cover us.
"Can you do that thingy with my hair?" He asked, moving his head so that he could see me.
"You want me to play with it?" I asked.
Nodding, JJ rubbed his eyes tiredly before letting out a small yawn.
"Of course, bubs," I said as I brought my hands to brush through his hair. "Close your eyes and sleep JJ."
"Will you be here when I wake up?"
Kissing his forehead, I gave him a loving smile. "I'm not going anywhere."
