Y/N's POV

I look at the dress that mom bought and my god was it the ugliest thing she could have bought.

I know mom has a bad sense of style but this is just another level.

I put it on regardless of my hatred for it because I understand what will happen to my ass if I disagree with her when we have guests. The accessories were pretty basic, just an average crystal beaded necklace with a golden chain. The earrings matched with the necklace.

At least she got something right.

I walk over to my desk to see that she left an A4 paper that had a simple hairstyle. All I had to do was to take the front patch of both sides of my head and then tie it together with clips. Seems pretty easy.

Once I finished, I decided not to put make up on because my face is having a breakout season and I didn't want anger it. I walk out the door and my dad standing in the hallway looking so exhausted.

"What's wrong dad?" You asked the obvious.

"I have a horrible headache but I have to hide it or else your mother will make me sleep in the car. Just give me two minutes and then I will be fine," he smiled weakly.

I nodded and went downstairs as I heard there were multiple people discussing over each other. As I am walking down, I hear mom bragging about me being a top student and that I am good at everything I touch. So gag worthy honestly. Do people even care about that shit?

I walk towards her and smiled gently. "Sweetie where is your father?" She gave a big smile to me.

"He is upstairs fixing up his tie," I lied. She didn't seem to believe me so she calmly excused herself and went upstairs. I didn't want to be near that guest because it would lead to awkward so I walked away and went near the living to go sit down.

The whole night ended with many drunk people leaving the house with so much joy. I have never been so bored in my entire life. From the food to the music to the people, everything was boring. I was forced to consume a lot of food because so many guests were "worried" about me. Unfortunately, my stomach isn't used to it so now I have an enormous sore stomach.

I don't like going to mom for my sore stomach because she usually puts the blame on me because, I apparently am always eating food that isn't good for my body when it's almost never the case. Dad doesn't know what to do in these situations so he would obviously snitch to mom.

Let's keep calm and be reasonable. You don't want mom to scold.
Just take digestion tea and you will be fine.

I listen to myself and went in the kitchen to warm up some boiling water. As I was waiting for the water to heat, I wanted to text someone because I have to wait at least two more hours before I can lie down. Mom had tricked me into thinking that if I don't throw up in four hours then I will be fine. And I know that it's fake, but I guess my brain is really holding onto it.

She wasn't answering. Which is weird since she usually answers after the third message.

Maybe I should call her...

I pressed the call button and waited for the ring to stop.

"Hellooo mmhmm," a weird sound came from her end.
