Monday had finally arrived, making Jeno and Jaemin the happiest they've ever been on a Monday. Jaemin had history today and after hearing Renjun speak on Friday, he knew that Renjun was the guy with the angelic voice from History. Sadly, they would both have to wait three classes before they could see him.

Jeno and Jaemin were extra cheerful and bubbly this morning which didn't sit right with Jisung. The poor guy was having a bad day and all the smiles, skipping and laughter was annoying him. Mark, on the other hand, didn't mind because he knew how much it meant to his friends to finally have found their missing piece. He was happy for them and so was Jisung but he didn't feel like showing it at the moment.

They walked to campus together like they always do and Jisung listened to music and ignored the eager conversation of the soulmates. Mark listened in silence and smiled, he was truly happy for them and he wanted to properly meet Renjun. Although, he was concerned that Renjun didn't want to be in a relationship with his friends because he ran away. On Friday, when they spoke to each other, he must have known that they were his soulmates but he still ran away.

The day began and they attended their first class. Then their second. Then their third.

When Jeno and Jaemin arrived at the boring history class, they were upset to see Renjun's friends but not Renjun. They both walked up to Chenle and Haechan, who were already seated and taking out the necessary supplies needed for the class.

"Hey." Jeno initiated the conversation. Chenle and Haechan looked up at the couple in confusion.

"Hi?" Chenle responded.

"We were looking for your friend, Renjun." Jeno asked.

"Oh! You're the soulmates." Chenle exclaimed and smiled widely at the pair.

"Yes, we wanted to talk to him about that." Jaemin beamed and Chenle's smile grew even more. Both Jeno and Jaemin found the younger's smile really cute.

"I'm sorry, he's not here. He's also not coming. He called in sick." Haechan rasped and laid his head down on the table to rest.

"Don't mind him. He's having a bad day. He's usually much more annoying and kind." Chenle apologized.

"He called in sick? Is he okay?" Jaemin asked with concern.

"No, he's not. He just doesn't want to see you two." Haechan blurted out and Chenle glared at him even though the older couldn't see. Chenle slapped Haechan's head and the other hissed and held his head tight.

"Chenle, you're testing my patience." Haechan warned and glared at the younger.

"You're the one testing my patience. Why would you say that? Are you stupid?" Chenle cursed. Jeno and Jaemin just watched the scene in front of them.

"I'm sorry about my friend. When he's in a bad mood, he can be very blunt and rude." Chenle apologized.

"Since when do you apologize?" Haechan whispered. Chenle chose to ignore his comment and continued to talk to the other two.

"Did he really not want to see us?" Jaemin pouted and Jeno took his hand in his to comfort him.

"No, it's not like that. He just needs time to wrap his head around it." Chenle hesitated and Haechan chuckled at Chenle's lame excuse.

"He's known most of his life that he had two soulmates, why would he need to wrap his head around it?" Jeno asked and Chenle paused, he wasn't sure how to answer that. Silence hung in the air for longer than expected until someone decided to break it.

"Because he's been told his whole life that having two soulmates is disgusting and that he was a freak for needing more than one! He can take as much time as he needs to accept it!" Haechan snapped.

Jeno and Jaemin were taken aback by his sudden outburst but were even more taken aback by the fact that people had said that to their soulmate. Jeno tightened his hold on Jaemin's hand, he was clearly pissed at anyone and everyone that ever called his soulmate disgusting or a freak. Jaemin clenched his jaw in anger too but he was doing better at controlling his anger than Jeno was, at this rate he might break his hand.

"Why would someone say that?" Jaemin bellowed and Haechan grew a bit intimidated with the sound of his voice.

"Because life sucks and people suck." Chenle sighed.

"You sound like Mark." Jeno chuckled.

"I don't know who he is but he's right. There's only a small amount of people in this world that don't suck." Chenle nodded.

"Well, you should go now. You don't want the professor finding you here." Jaemin smiled at his boyfriend. Jaemin gave Jeno a short kiss and was about to walk him out when Haechan stopped them.

"Wait. Don't stop trying. Renjun is the type of person that you fight for, he needs someone to fight for him. You shouldn't give up, even if he does reject you constantly." Haechan advised.

"We weren't planning on giving up." Jeno boasted. His response made Haechan smile, the first smile he's shown today.

Jaemin walked Jeno to the door and before he left, he gave Jaemin reassurance.

"We'll try again later, or tomorrow, or the day after that. We won't stop trying, Nana. He'll be ours, I promise." Jeno smiled and caressed his cheek.

"I know he will." Jaemin sighed and snuggled up against his boyfriend's hand.

When Jaemin walked back to his seat, Haechan and Chenle were looking at him with goofy smiles and awe in their eyes.

"UwU! That was so cute!" Haechan gushed.

"I apologize for my bitchy behavior. You and your boyfriend's little moment just made my day, LMAO" Haechan laughed.

"Did you just say LMAO in real life?" Jaemin grinned.

"Yeah, I did. And?" Haechan blurted, clearly going into defense mode.

"Nothing, LOL." Jaemin responded.

Haechan laughed at Jaemin's words and proceeded to call him, his new friend.

"The one time Renjun chooses not to show up to class, we end up finding someone fun!" Chenle commented.

"I know! He could have not shown when I had to do that stupid play at school where I played a freaking carrot but nooooo, he recorded the whole damn thing." Haechan huffed.

"Ohhh, I remember that! It was the spring musical and Haechan was so obsessed with singing that he tried out and got the part of carrot number two!" Chenle laughed and Jaemin watched the two interact. He really loved their friendship and found comfort in both of their laughs.

"Yah! That thing was rigged! I was the best 13 year old singer there but nooooo, some other guy got the main role. He couldn't even sing." Haechan pouted and crossed his arms.

"You do know he got the part because he was the teacher's son, right?" Chenle mentioned.

"Are you serious?! See, I knew it was rigged." Haechan told Jaemin and Jaemin just laughed.

He really likes Chenle and Haechan. He was happy that Renjun had such great friends in his life.
