chapter 51

scarlet's pov:

"my ... parents have been trying to contact me " the room went quiet both kristian and mateo were silent , kristian was obviously shocked but mateo was probably confused

"since when ?" kristian broke the silence with his icy cold voice , i looked at him with tears in my eyes

"two weeks ago , after we came back from Spain , i received a call from an unknown number and when i answered they just hanged up " i felt his hand slide on my bare leg rubbing it to stop it from shivering under the blankets

"tell me everything that happened up until now scar!" kristian said with a calmer face as he held my hand to reassure me that everything is okay , i nodded my head as i started telling him everything

"after we came back from Spain , we had the press conference in the hotel about our engagement , right?, do you remember when i left to use the toilet after it ended ?"

"yeah , me and mateo waited for you in the car "

" that day while i was leaving the toilet a woman in a black hoodie gave me a slip of paper and ran away before i could have asked her anything , on the paper there was some writing about a meeting place and time for the next day and there on the same paper were the words i miss you " my voice broke as i remembered the paper that i couldn't have the heart to throw it away

"you didn't go , did you ?" kristian jumped forward as he pulled my face into his hands and stared at my teary eyes , i shock my head as i sniffled , i saw him let out a breath and so did mateo

"i knew that it was my mothers hand writing , but i couldn't trust her , or trust the person who gave me the note , so i just ignored it , but for the last two week , notes like this are everywhere , unknown numbers are calling me and sending me messages and i just..." kristian hugged me tight as i cried in his hands like a child , his embrace felt warm just like a home , a home i never had .

Kristian's pov :

i hugged scarlet tighter as she sobbed on my chest , and with every cry she let out i felt my heart break a bit more , i hated these people for playing with here feelings like this and i was gonna make sure to make them regret this , i looked at mateo who was staring at scarlet with sadness , i looked him in the eyes and gave him the signal to go and start taking care of this mess , he nodded his head and left , leaving me alone with scarlet , i gave her a couple of seconds to calm down and slowly she pushed herself of off me and smiled

"i am sorry , i probably look and sound like a mess " i rubbed her messy hair and chuckled

"you do , but you're my mess " i leaned closer and kissed her gently on her rosy lips , tasting the salty tears that had made their way there , i felt her kiss me back as she circled her slim hands around my neck to pull me even closer than we are , but kissing gently wasn't enough for me , it's never enough with her , i prayed her teeth open with my tongue pushing it to wander inside her mouth , she tried to fight me back and take control but i was to engrossed in our kiss than to give her way , i felt the pleasure of our kiss shock me to my core as my hands started to wonder all over her body

but in second i was brought back to the reality of our situation that we were in the living room with Noah in his room alone above us and that scarlet was still feeling unwell , even though it pained me to do so but still i pushed scarlet away gently and took a step back to breath and calm down my emotions and hunger .
