~Lam~

After P'Park visit I opt out of going to the party that was being held in Ming's honor. P'Park's words kept ringing in my ear the entire night. Will my decision come to bite me in the ass? I looked at the time,and it was almost 6am. The Sotus closing will begin in an hour and I've yet to have a decent sleep. So I have been pondering what to do in terms of N'Beam. If Park could tell that I like him, it is only a matter of time for Forth to catch on too.

" Lam!! I saved you a seat..." I noticed Kao waving when I arrived at the dinning area and seated next to him was N'Beam. My heart skipped a beat, *be still my beating heart*. He looked up when Kao called out my name with a 😊. " Morning Kao... 😊 Morning Nong..." I managed to say sitting across from Kao. He greeted me back. He seem less alarm than he was yesterday when he saw me. " Where is Forth and Pete?" I asked.

" They are in charge of rounding up the freshman for today's activities. I am on baby sitting duties hahaha..." Kao said next to a now blushing Beam. " I'm only teasing Nong... we should get our food before everyone else gets here"Kao said. We got in queue for the breakfast buffet. I couldn't help but sneak a peak at N'Beam every now and then. Once we were seated, Kao excused himself to use the restroom.

" Are you enjoying yourself so far?"I asked N'Beam, he nodded his head to respond instead of speaking up. I couldn't help but notice he was avoiding eye contact with me. I don't know what had possessed me, but I asked "So... are you and Forth official now?". This made him jolt up,... " Yes we are..." I heard Forth answered from behind me. He smiled at N'Beam as he took his seat next to him.*This is the sign I needed...move on Lam*

~ Forth~

The sight of Lam and Beam alone having breakfast didn't sit well with when I saw it. Yes! I trust Lam, in fact with my life. But of late, he hasn't been himself. They both are still putting on the charade of not knowing each other. So I've decided to play along, " ... What about you? Did you make up with P'Park?" I asked after I took my seat next to Beam, placing my hand on his hand. " No... We decided it is best to go our separate ways"-Lam.

Now I knew that was definitely no P'Park's decision. The man I saw yesterday was willing to risk it all to have Lam back. There's no way he had agreed to let him go. I looked at Lam in silence, he has truly changed. "Well I'll leave you two to have your breakfast, I'll go set up"-Lam. I watched as he walked away then asked Beam, " what were you discussing before I got here?"

He turned to me, a bit blushed "... nothing, just small talks"-Beam. "Beam the foundation to a good relationship is communication. Just know I won't Hide, anything from you. I hope you would trust me enough to not keep secrets from me" I said. He simply nodded. *I won't pry it out of him, because I don't want o make assumptions. But then again, they both are lying not admitting they know each other prior to my introduction. Time will tell...*

~Beam~

" These engineering students really take SOTUS seriously. Hell!!! Ming and couldn't even celebrate in peace "-P'Kit. I shook my head at him, sitting next to him on the beach chairs. Across from us was the engineer students, doing their Sotus activities. " P'Kit... Do you think P'Forth knows what had transpired between me and P'Lam?" I asked because I knew Ming already told him, and also he is the cause of this entire dilemma.

He turned to me, " ... well from how you are gawking at Lam, if he didn't then he definitely does now hahaha"—Kit. " Huh? What do you mean by gawking???" I asked wondering if it was him joking or was this something I've been doing. " Beam!! Your sight have not defer from him since you sat next to me."-Kit. I blinked in disbelief, I am really trying to move on. But how does one simply forget the memories we shared. He was a true gentleman and I scan now tell how much he cares from his best friend.

" Would you leave Ming, if he did something with your friend you met?" I asked P'Kit and suddenly felt a water bottle to face " ... Ouch 😣!!! Phi, what was that for?". He glared at me, "First of all Ming will never!!! do that 😡. Second, I think you should let Lam know if you are going to tell Forth. Better yet, have Lam tell him instead. If you start your relationship with lies, it will only pile up and snowball into something beyond fixing."-P'Kit. I glanced over where the Sotus activities was going on. First to catch my eye was P'Forth and he smiled at me. It gave me so much warmth. Then, P'Lam whose stares still gives me butterflies 🦋. * I don't think I can keep up with the charades anymore. I can lie to myself but not my emotions. I have to tell P'Forth*

~ Forth~

That evening when Sotus was over, I gave the speech about the engineer gear and what it represents. " I have had my gear ⚙️ since my freshman year. Never, then did I imagine the true significance of this gear until I met Beam.." I said pointing to him in the crowd. He felt shy, because everyone was cheering and looking in his direction when I said that. After I gave my speech, there was a little gathering afterwards. But I wanted to give Beam my speech, so I walked with him to the beach.

I felt nervous, as if I was going to propose to him. My palms were sweaty and heart was palpitating. As we walked by the beach, under the moon lit skit I knew it was the right time to present Beam with my gear ⚙️. So I held his hand, " Beam... I know we are actually official. But I have never been this certain about my feelings about anyone.... Forth" . He interrupted me mid-sentence.

I looked at his now tear drained face, is he crying? 🙁. " I can't lie to myself anymore. Yes, I liked you but truth is, I'm still not over ..." he paused, then looked me in the eyes with tears 😭. " It will be unfair to you Phi... I can't be with you. I am sorry..."-Beam. After he said that, he let go of my hand and ran back to the resort. * I felt an ache 😣 in my heart. I froze in the spot with my gear in hand. I felt it but my mind refused to believe... He is in love with LAM*
