Thirty

~Beam~

It has been a week since the Moon and Star weekend. Since there is no more rehearsals, I am mostly on medical campus, and not much of the other campus. Since that evening on the beach with P'Forth, I haven't heard nor seen him. That's a good thing, now we can all heal and move on. Who would have thought my first month in university will be filled with so much drama.

" Do you guys know what P'Pha is getting me for my birthday?!!!" -Wayo asked with so much excitement. He is the last of my friends to turn Eighteen, and unbeknownst to him. P'Pha have been planning a surprise Birthday party. We have all been sitting on this secret for about a week now. " knowing Phana, he probably forgot it is your birthday"-P'Kit said earning him a glare from Wayo. " I just know he has something special planned... Ahh, I can't wait till Friday"-Wayo.

It was just the three us today at lunch, Phana had some school work to complete. And Ming had to meet with his seniors about something. But then he walked in with some guy trailing behind him. " Now who the Fuck is that with my man!?"-P'Kit hissed in annoyance as we watched Ming laugh and giggle with this guy. " Hi babe..." Ming said leaning in for a kiss from Kit who was now glaring at him. Knowing the jealous boyfriend he has, he quickly introduced the guy next to him. " This is P'Tharn, he is in the school of music. He was the Moon before P'Pha."-Ming.

" Swaddee..." he wai at us politely. Handsome doesn't begin to describe this guy. He has a strong jaw and from the veins on his hands you can tell he is very fit. We all introduced ourselves at the table. "Yeah , Beam Baramee... I really liked your performance at the Moon and Star competition. Have you ever thought about joining a band?"-P'Tharn. I looked at him a bit confused, who me? "Ummm... I don't think am that great to be in a band Phi.." I responded.

" Well you should try out for the guitar position for my band today. I believe you will be a great fit... well, I need to get in line before lunch is over" he said and ran off to the Pho 🍜 stall. He is very handsome, and me in a band? I never considered it, it could be fun. " Why did he come all the way here for food? Don't they have food on the music campus?🤨"-P'Kit still not letting up on Ming.Next, Ming leaned in and French kissed him. " Ewww, get a room..."-Wayo. " Now, does that rid you of your concerns?"-Ming said leaving P'Kit flustered and bothered. I really can't with these two, one minute they are cold and the next hot.

~Lam~

A whole week has gone by and Forth has yet to come back on campus. So I went to his family house to find his whereabouts. "Hi Sir, Mr.Jaturapoom is not expecting any visitors" said the security guard at the gate. I looked at him, and realized he was new here. "If you don't want to loose your job, open this gate for me" I said in anger. Again, he refused to do so, I took out my phone and placed a phone call.

Within minutes the gate was opened for me. Before, I proceeded to go in, I looked toward the security guard. " Remember this face, I don't want to ever have this conversation with you again" I said as he wai. Even though he was taking orders from Forth, I couldn't help but lash out on him. I have been coming to the Jaturapoom's house since I was a fetus. Such blatant disrespect!!! What is going on with Forth!!!!

I walked inside, and headed straight for Forth's room. " Why the FUCK! Are you avoiding me??😡🤬" I yelled at him. He was sitting by his desk building his robots. He gave me a quick glance and went back to working on his robots. Forth and I have only fought once during our entire friendship. Then we were like 7 years, he wanted the ball I got from his parents as a present.

He took a quick glance at his own ball in his hand which was blue, his favorite color. Then looked at mine that was ocean blue and said "Trade with me Lammie...". Truth is I really wanted that ball for myself too. Normally, I yield to him to bring peace but that day I refused. I guess he couldn't believe I said no to him, he then proceeded to yank the ball out of my hands.

I pushed him and we were in a fist fight. P'Mew stood there chanting , being entertained by our juvenile argument. It was P'Earth that broke us up afterwards, we didn't talk to each other for weeks. Then he came over my house one day with his mom carrying that ball. " Here Lammie, let's not fight again. See,mummy got me my own 😁" he said with a wide grin holding on to his own ball. We made up, and we've never had a fight or not been on speaking terms until now.

~Forth~

I made it clear to the security I didn't want to see any one. I wanted to be alone for a while, crazy enough my parents refused to let me leave the country. I guess they only use it as a form of threat, but once I decided on my own to leave they were against it. I've had time to sort out my feelings, and although I was hurt by N'Beam turning me down. I felt more betrayed by my best friend. I watched him yearn for N'Beam, yet he carried on the charade.

" Why the FUCK are you not answering me FORTH!!!"-Lam. I was not surprised he was let in, and there he stood still pretending not to know what was going on. " You have never yielded to me, so why now?" I asked still working on my robot. I could hear him sigh, " ... what are you ranting about Forth? Why are you behaving like a child?"-Lam. I couldn't take it anymore. " ME!!! Acting childish!!! You can't even be honest with me Lam.... BEAM!!! I know about you and BEAM!!😠". He stood there bemused, " ... Cat got your tongue???" I asked. As if time froze for a minute. Then he whispered, " I didn't want to hurt you.."-Lam....
