after tossing and turning for hours, nini gives up on trying to fall asleep. she got out of bed and moved into her living room, turning on the tv and making herself comfortable on the couch.
she stays there for a couple hours, until the sun had fully risen and light was streaming through her windows, watching whatever was currently playing on her tv. her apartment was less than ten minutes away from central park, and judging by the fact that she's probably not going to get any sleep, she decides to take a walk.
it was a sunday morning, the streets weren't too filled with people and nini was able to easily maneuver from block to block as she made her way to the park.
once she arrives at the park, she begins walking in the direction of rickys apartment, figuring it'd be easier to go there directly after. she allows her mind to run free for the duration of her 30 minute walk across the park, thinking about anything but the person she was on her way to see.
she checks the time to see that it's past 10 am, deciding to walk over to ricky's before she has a chance to change her mind. she gives him no warning, figuring he'd be awake already if his quality of sleep was anything like hers.
as she arrived at his apartment, she sees big red, who she knew to be rickys best friend, leaving the complex. he gives her a small smile, and she realizes that he most likely knows why she's here. she waves to him, before entering the lobby and making her way to the elevator.
