Chapter 10

"Sabrina are you feeling any better?" Her dad.

"Yes dad I'm fine" said Sabrina.

"That's good, come down and eat breakfast with us" said her dad.

Sabrina and her dad went downstairs, it had been a whole week since Sabrina was ill and didn't go downstairs at all.

"Hey beta, I'm glad your feeling better" said Azeem's dad.

"Hello uncle, yes much better" said Sabrina.

Sabrina's family and Azeem's family were both sitting and having breakfast, everyone was silent for a while when suddenly Azeem's mother broke the silence.

"Sabrina after you have your breakfast go and get ready" said Azeem's mum.

"Ok auntie but why?" Said Sabrina.

"There's a marriage proposal for you and they are coming to meet you tonight" said Azeem's mum.

Azeem started choking after hearing about the marriage proposal, Waqas handed Azeem a glass of water.

"Are you ok beta?" Said Azeem's mum.

"Yes I'm fine mum" said Azeem.

"Yeah so Azeem can you take Sabrina out for shopping and buy her a really nice dress" said Azeem's mum

"Me!..." Said Azeem.

"Yes You!" Said his mum.

"Ok... what do I need to get?!" Said Sabrina.

"Sabrina, Get 3 nice dresses or anarkali suits or sarees and matching shoes and jewellery" said Azeem's mum.

"Oh ok" said Sabrina.

After breakfast, Sabrina ran upstairs to get ready after she got ready, her mum came upstairs. "Mum, who is the guy?" Said Sabrina.

"I don't know but your dad said that he's a really nice guy" said Her mum.

"Oh ok and mum I need a hug" said Sabrina.

Her mum hugged her and said, "don't worry hun everything will be ok".

Sabrina went downstairs and waited for Azeem to come down, he came and told her to go and wait in the car. Sabrina went into the Porsche, she was sitting there playing on her phone. Azeem opened the door and sat in, there was an awkward silent between them so Azeem put the radio on, Sabrina was too busy on her phone. When suddenly Azeem said, "So do you know the guy?".

"What?!" Said Sabrina as if she didn't hear what he said.

"I said, do you know the guy? The marriage proposal one?" Said Azeem.

"No..." Replied Sabrina.

"Oh ok... so you believe in arranged marriages?" Said Azeem.

"Well I wanted a love marriage but... you don't get what you want in life and the thing with arranged marriages is at least you get to know the person and then love happens after" said Sabrina.

"Oh... Have you ever been in love?" Said Azeem.

Sabrina's eyes widen and started tearing up, she looked out the window trying to wipe away her tears. Azeem parked the car, Sabrina opened the door and walked out, Azeem followed, he could see her teary and watched how she tried to avoid eye contact with him.
They were in the shop, Sabrina picked up 3 different dresses, one was an anarkali, the other one was a saree and the last one was a dress. Sabrina walked into the changing room while Azeem stood outside, Sabrina tried on the dress but had to tighten the straps which where on the back, Sabrina called Azeem and told him to get one of the workers to come and help her so Azeem went to find a female worker but he could only find the male workers so he told them to tell a female worker that a customer needs help. Sabrina was waiting for over 5 minute, Azeem walked into the changing room and tied the straps for her, Sabrina didn't know that Azeem was here until she turned around and saw him, he got a dupatta(scarf) and put it around her, a female worker walked in and said, "oh sorry" she laughed and walked away.
Azeem got out of the changing room and waited for Sabrina to get out, she tried on the other three dresses and showed Azeem, he liked the first one so that's what she bought.

"You look really beautiful in that dress" said Azeem.

"Thank you" replied Sabrina.

"Can I ask you something?" Said Azeem.

Sabrina's heart started to race, she replied, "yes...".

"Is everything ok between us?" Said Azeem.

"Umm yes why?" Said Sabrina.

"Oh just wondering..." replied Azeem.

Sabrina started playing on her phone when suddenly Azeem said, "If you like that guy will you marry him?".

"Well the reason we came to Dubai was for a holiday and because I got into med school here so maybe after I become a doctor then but I might just get engaged" said Sabrina.

"Oh ok" said Azeem.

"Are you planning to get married to Pari?" Said Sabrina.

"I don't know... we broke up and just got back together so I'm not sure, I kinda like someone else!" Said Azeem.

"Oh... I could relate" said Sabrina.

"What do you mean you could relate?" Said Azeem.

"I like someone... But that person is with someone else and I don't know what to do" said Sabrina. They finally arrived home and Sabrina ran upstairs to get ready, the family were making dinner and the maid and butlers were cleaning the house. The door bell rang, Sabrina's family met the guys side and told them to sit down, Sabrina's mum upstairs to bring her down. Sabrina met the guys family but kept looking down. Both families were talking, when suddenly the guys mother said, "If you don't mind I want my son and your daughter to talk alone?".

"Yes of course that's fine, Sabrina beta take Adam to the garden" said Sabrina's dad.

Sabrina walked to the garden as Adam followed, she sat on the bench.
"Aren't you going to look up?" Said Adam.

"You!" Sabrina looked up shocked.
