Author~chan's POV~

a few minutes ago and Ranpo was still unconscious, and a few minutes later the argument between Kunikida and Dazai also passed, they were all standing and sitting in their seats still watching Ranpo, their eyes were they do not blink like owls that only blink when their eyes are tired

but different from them, their eyes only show straight and serious on Ranpo's body lying on the floor, as they surround him like a prey, but they will notice that they are bored and tired, a few hours the past and he still does not wake up, he seems to be worse than Aurora who is a princess who still needs to be kissed by a prince to wake up, while she was just stabbed by something and slept as if for life

the surroundings are getting dark and the time shows 7:05 pm, they are especially worried about their two colleagues, while Ranpo is still asleep just like Atsushi in the Infirmary, they are wondering because what time is it and until now he was still not awake, except for Atsushi, because they knew that the sharp object had also hit her and she was also tired of running as she lifted Ranpo's body behind her

well who wouldn't get tired if you were the only one left awake and you still had to carry your companion to run for the life of the two of you? of course you have no choice but to run for your life, if you do not want to get caught

"ah! I'm tired of this shit!" Kunikida shouted and stood up in his chair and went to the bathroom of their office and closed the door for a few seconds, while the others just looked at Dazai asking what Kunikida would do

and of course Dazai, he was too dumb to know what Kunikida was doing in the bathroom, he just shrugged and laughed

"he may have a stomach problem, HAHAHAHAHA" Dazai brurted as he rotated on the floor laughing out loud

others just looked at him with 'are you serious?' they will not think that Dazai still has time to joke especially since they are in the middle of a big problem. they do not know who did it to their two co-workers or where everything really happened

they just sighed deeply and waited a few more seconds, and finally, Kunikida came out holding a bucket full of water and quickly approached Ranpo who was still unconscious. the rest of them looked at Kunikida with big eyes

"W-Wait!" Tanizaki shouted and blocked in front of Kunikida while his two arms were open

"Are you really serious about pouring all that on him?! You know he can get angry!" he yell again trying to change Kunikida's mind

Kunikida is not really a very impatient person especially if it is important, he always wants everything to end quickly and not for long, so even until now he does not want to wait for too long!

if he has to use silly or violence act, he will do everything to make everything easier

"ah?! of course we have to do it! Do you think we will know what happened if he is still asleep and unconscious?! Atsushi's life depends on it so we have to do it!" Kunikida shouted back and immediately pushed Tanizaki back to his sister and poured all the water on Ranpo

"WAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" 

Atsushi's POV~

"shi-sushi- Atsushi!" I heard someone calling my name as I slowly opened my eyes which were already heavy, and the first thing that appeared in front of me was the white ceiling that was very familiar to me, I blinked a few times and sat on the soft bed even though my body is too hot and heavy

"arghhh!" my head ached in pain and everything that happened to Ranpo-san and me flashed back to my mind

people in black suits, Dr. Nemoto. my escape away from that place while Ranpo-san was behind me. all that is not just a bad dream? did all that really happen?

I don't know, I don't know why that happened, all I know is that there is a man shouting on the other line while shouting for help and a monster is chasing him. I told Ranpo-san all that and we went to that place at the same time, and all I remember is that Ranpo-san lost consciousness in my hands while there were many black suits people around us while the their gun was pointed at me, and at the same time Dr. Nemoto also came out. 

Ranpo-san!

"where is Ranpo-san?! I need to see him!" I shouted and jumped down on the bed and ran to the door, but before I could touch the doorknob, I did not realize that I had fallen to the floor

"Atsushi!" I heard Yosano-sensei's voice and she slowly approached me with Kyouka-chan

"you little brat, you have a fever!" she shouted at me while her hand was on my forehead

no, no! I should not get sick, I still need to see Ranpo-san! I want to explain to him what happened, he should not know my secret. especially about Dr. Nemoto!

"n-no!" slapped Yosano-sensei's hand away and ran out of the infirmary and went straight to where our office was. even though I limp and lack strength, and my surroundings are spinning because of my fever. I ignored all that, because all I had in mind was that I had to explain to Ranpo-san and he did not need to know all that!

I don't want them to know all that, I don't want them to leave me, I don't want to be alone anymore. I don't want them to disappear next to me, and there is only one way for that not to happen, I have to lie

I know it's too bad to lie to others, but this is my only way to keep them from disappearing

"ah, ah, ah" I panted over and over while my hands were supporting the walls

"Atsushi! Atsushi! stop!" 

my eyes widened and I turned around, and I was right, Yosano-sensein and Kyouka-chan were chasing me

I just grit my teeth and accelerated my walk, I saw that I was close to the door of our office, my hands reached for the door doorknob and pushed it

"R-Ranpo-san!"
