"Why don't we do something?"
"By 'something,' what do you mean?"
"Like, something to do as a family."
"And?"
"And that could be maybe..."
I chuckle. "Ariel! Get to the point!"
"Alright alright. Disneyland."
My eyes bulge out of my sockets. "You do realize how much that is right?"
"Yeah." She nods. "I already got the tickets, so uh... yeah." She smiles hopefully, and I chuckle again.
"Alright. Fine. But you should have talked to me before buying the tickets."
She laughs. "Alright. Point taken."

We left just about a week ago, and we'll be leaving in a little over three days.
"Oh my god! Look at that!!" Hayden squeals like a girl, and I laugh.
"It's gosh for you, bud," I tell him, but look at the Disney castle you always see in commercials. "That is pretty great huh?"
"Uh duh!!" Marley jokes, and I see Ariel come up beside Hayden, but he doesn't notice.
She motions 'shh,' and I nod, stifling a laugh as she puts a Mickey hat on his head.
"Mom!" He reaches up and feels around, but smiles. "Thanks. I thought it was something else."
"I wouldn't do that," Ariel smirks, and Hayden rolls his eyes, smile still evident.
I guess doing other things than thinking about him makes everyone a little happier.
