Hi! I'm Y/n, just your average 15-year-old high school girl, who studies at The Promised Neverland High School.

I have a hunch that some of you may have come from another fanfic titled, '𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 || 𝘙𝘢𝘺 𝘹 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳'.

Or perhaps you have read it, but just stepped upon this. Maybe you haven't actually read it, who knows?

"Y/n! Are you just going to lay down on bed all day or are you planning to get ready?" my mother, Stacy, called out to me from downstairs.

"I'll be down in a few minutes, mama!" I shouted, hoping that my voice was loud enough for her to hear.

Oh my, it seems like I'll have to cut my introduction short since I have to get going to school or else I'll be late.

I quickly sat up and did a quick stretch to loosen up my muscles after many hours of sleep.

I lazily grabbed my pillow and sat up as I embraced it. My body is engulfed in its comforting warmth.

I'm so tired...

I yawned and rubbed my eyes to get rid of the crusty stuff in it. I stood up and got myself ready for the day.

Walking into my bathroom, I began to undress from my pajamas and I entered the shower.

I am very much aware that the statement I am about to say next is very odd, and I'm sure no one would do this if they weren't forced to, that is.

Often, I would take cold showers to wake me up. It helped in waking up my whole body and brain so that I won't end up falling asleep later on.

After taking a cold shower, I changed into my school uniform and made my way down the flight of stairs.

My nose immediately caught the scent of my favorite breakfast. Using my ears, I could hear the soft humming coming from my mom.

"Good morning, Y/n. You're earlier by 8 seconds and 24 milliseconds." she commented, placing my plate on the table.

"Indeed. I guess I got the energy to stand up earlier rather than staying in bed for another 8 seconds and 24 milliseconds." I said.

"Anyways, you have an hour before your classes start. You should probably start going there when you're done eating." she suggested.

"Indeed, I guess I can do that. I could even visit the Junior High building and if I get lucky, maybe I can visit the Elementary building." I began to get excited.
