||AUSTIN||

Well we reached Pittsburg yesterday. I will be staying here for the whole week. Apparently we are doing 2 shows here and Dad has some other usual photoshoots interviews also shooting for a mv. etc.

Currently Dad is outside doing I dont know what. And I am stuck in this stupid room. Then it hits me maybe I could go back to the roof top.

I know I am not supposed to leave the hotel and stuff but come on what am I supposed to do? Plus he doesnt have to know about this.

I crab my phone and tuck it into my jean pocket. And left the room. We were staying at the 24th floor of the hotel and this place had a total of 27 floors so I didn't bother taking the lift just climbed the stairs two at a time.  I reached the roof top. A cold hit my body. I took a deep breath. It was always the roof that made feel like I could actually breath.

I walk into the roof top. It was empty as usual. I dont understand why people would not take more advantage and come up here more often. I go over to ledge and sit on it. My feet dangling down. On move and I will fall 27 floors. That would cause me to die. But what after? What comes after death? There are so many ideas of what happens to man's physical body. But what happens to his spirit his soul? That is one heck of a question I would say. I dont know what will happen after it is a mystery to all living creatures. Maybe it is something that the human mind cannot comprehend. Maybe we are so stupid that we cannot understand it. But whatever happens I believe the living and the dead will the untied. So who ever we have lost we will see them there when go there. The there can be a place can be a a state of mind I dont know what it is.  And trust me I have pondered this so many times but I have come no where close to an answer.

I know I could see the view from the balcony of the room. But I preferred it from here the roof top. I mean when you look out of your balcony or window it feels like you are looking at the world from your life. But from the roof top it was like you were a stranger and staring at the world whatever shit that is happening with you is forgotten. It just you and the world no one else or anything else mattered. And I feel like everyone needs that from time to time.

I stayed there for a few more hours. Until the skies started to turn a deep red. And  colder winds started to blow did I decide to get back to the room. This time I took the lift down to my floor. I walked down the quiet hallway to reach my room. I was about to open the door when I realized something.

"Shit" I mutter. I didn't have the room key. Louis didn't give me the new room key as I am "grounded" but I know he kept the room key on the bedside table. But I forgot to grab it before I left.

I went to the reception to get a spare key from them.

"Hi I am Austin Tomlinson from room 2406 I kind off locked myself out. Could you please give me a spare key card?" I ask the lady behind the desk.

She cleared her throat and said "I am sorry sir-" But I cut her off right there.

"Austin" I say I dont like it when people call me sir.

"Sorry Austin but we are not allowed to assign more than 4 key cards for a room. And we have assigned 4 keys cards to your staff. I am sorry it is the hotel policy" She says in a fake sweet voice. The same one I get when I go to any place. It is so annoying.

"Right. Thank you for the help" I say fighting the urge to roll my eyes.

I go back to my floor. I couldn't find anyone of the crew or members any where. I guess I will just sit around here. And wait for someone to get here.

I sit on the carpeted floor with my back against the walls of this empty hallway.

I scrolled through random things online. My followers online have been increasing dramatically since I did that show. There was many people asking me to perform an original song or something. I must say my confidence has drastically increased since that show I was considering performing a original. But that was for later I had time a week and a half to be precise.

Almost 30 minutes passed.  When I heard the elevator doors open. I hoped it was one of the crew members or staff. But of course it had to be the one person I didn't want to see.

Dad.

He looked at me sitting on the floor.

"What the hell are you doing on the floor. Get up!" He says disgusted by the fact that I sat on the floor.

"What does it look like? I got locked out" I say rolling my eyes. As I got up from the floor and tucked my phone into my pocket.

"Okay let me re-phrase What are you doing outside the room" He asks.

"Would you believe it if I said that I just wanted to sit in the hall way?" I ask hopefully.

"No not really" He says.

"Well in that case I was at the roof. Now will you please open the room door?" I say

"You know you aren't allowed to leave your room" He says sternly.

"Yeah yeah just open the door" I say I didn't want to spend more time talking to dad.

"Why the roof though?" He continues to ask.

"Cause why not? Now the door please" I say urging him to open to door. So I can just go back to my room.

Dad sighed. I guess he knew that he wasn't going to get more from me.

He opened the door using his key card.

"Thank you for your help" I say before I kind of power walk it to my room.

"I-" Dad says but I was already in my room shutting the door behind.
