CHANCES (L.T.)

~~~FIFTY SIX~~~

Louis's POV. 

I was fast asleep. When I heard my bloody phone go off like a alarm. Why was someone calling me when it was my day off?

I groggily get up and get my phone off the side table without looking at the caller ID and pick it up. 

"What?" I groan to whoever is at the other end of the phone.

"I have a contract that wants Austin Tomlinson's signature on it" An all to familiar voice says on the other end. 

I moved the phone away from my ear and cruse. It was my manager Aldrin.

"I told you I am not letting him sign anything" I get hi with a sigh rubbing my temple feeling a headache coming on. 

"Well he doesn't seem to say that... He did a show last night and enjoyed it so if you were to say something about this to him I am sure he would sign this is a second" He says. 

"Fuck off I am his father not you so whatever happens in his life will have to have my approval. And I dont approve of this. So just leave him out of this okay?" I tell him with a bit of an edge in my voice.

"You are not letting him have the best Louis. But with me he can have everything! Have you seen how things are changing for him already?" He asks me.

By this point I was off the bed and standing and pacing around the room trying my best not to raise my voice and wake up Austin sleeping in the other room.

"I am not doing the best for him? I am his father! I am doing the best for him! I am protecting him for this shitty world! He is barely even 16 and you want to put him in this cycle! I am not letting that happen. I know my son and I know what is best for him! This little contract of yours is not the best and I will have nothing but the best!" I yell and him not caring at this pint whether or not I wake up others in my room.

"Okay you are not in your right head space right now we will talk about this later okay. Go get some rest clear your head we will talk about this later" My manager said. 

"Fuck off Aldrin" I say.  Before hanging up and tossing the phone onto the bed. I run my finger through my already messy hair. I cant let this happen to him.

"You wanna talk about it?" A voice asks from behind me. I turn around to see Niall standing there leaning against the door frame. 

I forgot that he was here as well. Yesterday after Austin's show we all went outside for dinner and Niall ended up crashing at our place. 

"Did I wake Austin up?" I ask him with a sigh.

"He still asleep" Niall says.

There was silence between us before Niall broke it by saying "You going to tell me why you are yelling at someone t 8 in the morning?"

"It was my manager" I say as I sit down on the bed.

I ended up telling him everything. The contract, my manager, all of it. 

"Louis you aren't making a mistake you are doing the right thing you cannot let him sign it. He is young and we experienced all the shit it wont be right to send him there" Niall said. 

"That is what I said! Aldrin isn't accepting it! I have to meet him and my remaining management team" I tell him getting up and pacing the room again.  

There was silence between us again 

"You know whatever does happen you have to tell Austin about it. This deal involves him and he isn't a child he is old enough to know things. You have to talk to him about this and tell him it is in his good interest. I know for a fact that he will understand" Niall tells me.

What he said made sense. I could tell Austin about this and explain what is going on but what if he doesn't agree with me? What if he wants to sign the contract? What if he doesn't see this situation the same way as I do? If a slightest word gets out that he wants to sign the papers then I know for a fact that my management will find him and get him to sign it without even knowing what he is getting into.

I am sorry for not updating sooner :( I mean this really short chapter took me 5 hours to write I mean try and watch a show while writing! Okay so sorry if there were any typos cause I haven't re-read it.
