Louis ' s pov. I turn around to see who is at the door and see the one only Niall horan.
"What do you want niall?" I groan out. I swear that boy literally pops up at random times here. And the main reason being he is bored.
"Ouch. I thought I would receive a better welcome from my mate but I was wrong" he scoffs.
"Seriously mate whatcha doing here?" I ask.
"I thought maybe you would like to talk to a mate cause maybe you were bored" he says rolling his eyes.
I look at him giving him the look telling him do you really expect me to believe that shit.
"Fine I was bored" he confesses.
I just look a t him with a smirk.
"Any way what you up to lou?" He asks.
I just shake my head as if to say nothing but in reality my head was buzzing with stuff.
"Louis you seem to forget that I have known you for almost 14 years and I can see right through that lie" he says with a chuckle. "So tell me what is really going on?" He asks.
I sigh. He was right 14 years of friendship does let a person get to know you even better than you know yourself.
"It is just... I don't know" I say not really knowing where to start.
"Start at the beginning" niall says.
I nod "I.. He.... The other day...." I struggle just thinking about it made me nauseous.
Niall just waits and let's me collect my thoughts.
"The other day I found out that Austin has been getting beat up? At school."
Niall just looked at me in shock like he did not believe me .
"I had the same reaction but he begged me not to say anything or do anything." I say sadly I still want to sue everyone for hurting him but I don't know the way he said it I did not want to do it? I don't know if that make sense but..
Niall looked at me but calmed down and nodded understandingly.
"I am made him promise that he would tell me when something like that happened again." I say. Niall just nodded along.
"I did not send him to school for the next couple of days and today I sent him."
Niall looked at me wait for me to continue.
"When he got back back home he looked just fine. But when I went to tell him something in his room. I saw he had blood on his shirt" I say. I could see niall's eyes go wide.
"I asked him what happened he hesitated a bit before he told me he got punched in the nose and had a nose bleed."
Niall took a deep breath before saying "So what you are mad at him for not telling you he got punched?"
"No no it is not that. I am not mad at him it is just he told me he was sorry for not telling me because lying when it came to this stuff was just habit" I say.
"What do you mean a habit?" Niall asks.
"When he was back in Doncaster he used to get beat up as well so he told Allison about it and she started to over worry and stuff so he stopped telling her and lying so.." I trail off.
"He used to get beat up in Doncaster?" Niall asks
"That is what he told."
"It is just I dont know I feel like there is more you know. I feel like a lot of things have happened in Doncaster and me finding out that he was getting beaten up is just is just the surface you know? " I say not sure if he understands. But honestly he is the closest person who will understand because he is the only one that knows everything about me and allison and just everything.
"Maybe you are right maybe you are only scratching the surface of what his life and everything really was like. But mate you cannot find any of the stuff you want to find by just sitting around and thinking" Niall says. And that made sense I needed to talk to Austin and find out more. But not now not at this point.
