THE DIVORCE

Anna felt bad after Bondita accused her like that. She felt that she came between bondita's mending bonds with annirudh. She wanted to speak to annirudh. She comes home to meet him and speaks to him.

Anna : annirudh !! I m extremely sorry . I didn't expect these things to happen. I also wanted you both to be together. I accept that i wanted you  but i was diverted by my mom. I....

Annirudh : no Anna it's not your fault. It's just our relationship. We both were never meant to be. She was my prime responsibility and now i think i have fulfilled it to the fullest. Now we both can't help it.

Anna : then what about those accusations annirudh  !!! I don't think she accused  you just like that. She must have been through pain.

Annirudh : no Anna it's not the pain or something. It's just the base of our relationship. Do you remember that i told you how she became a part of my life. It was not her choice.

Anna : maybe...

Annirudh : enough of these Anna. I think you must help me out with the divorce papers.

In devipur. Bondita is sitting near her mom photo.

Bondita : ( thinks ) sach mein maa . Mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha hein ki aap mere sath nahi hein. Zindagi mein sab kuch ek jhatke mein mujhse door kardiya maa.  Aur maa mujhe lagtha hein ki maine woh sab ke samne pati babu ko aisa nahi bolna chahiye tha. Pehli baar itne saloon ke baad mujhe laga ki pati babu mere kyal rakthe hein. Patha hein maa jab maine unke bahoon mein rone lagi na maa , mein sab kuch bool gayi thi maa. Par maa jab meine us Anna ko piche dheka toh tab mujhe lagaa ki woh sab jut hein. Par maa agar kaka aur pati babu agar sach bhi keh rehe hein agar Anna aur unke beech kuch bhi nahi chal raha hein to kya hua maaa ?? Sach toh yahi heina ki woh mujhse pyar hi nahi karte hein. Bhale hi woh kisi aur se karein ya kisi se bhi nahi  . Yahi toh sach hein na maaa.

Meanwhile in TULSIPUR.

Annirudh goes to the welfare association. He enquiries about the call from devipur. He wanted to be sure that there was no mistake. As he asked he got to know that there was no call missed.

Annirudh : ( thinks in his table ) patha nahi bondita ko aisa kyun laga. Yahaan toh maine sab kuch dhek rakha hein. Aisa koi bhi call nahi hein jisse attend na kiya ho. He thinks to call devipur common telephone.  He calls.

Annirudh : hello !

Person : haan boliye aapko kon chahiye

Annirudh : mein annirudh Roy Choudhury Tulsipur se. Kya mein Bondita Roy Choudhury se baath kar saktha hoon sumati Aravind das ki beti .

Person : ji zaroor mein bula latha hoon.

The person called bondita . Bondita lifted the call hesitantly.

Annirudh : bondita!!! Jaisa tumne socha aisa bilkul bhi nahi hein bondita. Maine yahaan pura association ko pucha. Yahaan kabhi bhi calls ko ignore nahi kiya jatha hein.

Bondita : ji pati babu !! Mujhe maaf kar dijiye aisa mujhe nahi kehna chahiye tha.

Annirudh : koi baath nahi bondita. Tum thik nahi the tab . Isliye tum...

Bondita : haan pati babu.

Annirudh : aab kya tum mujhe ek chance aur de sakthi ho main tumhe iss halath mein nahi chod saktha bondita.

Bondita : mujhe sympathy se math dekiye pati babu. Itne maheene se main aapke sath thi tab aapne aisa decision nahi liya. Aur aab aisa kya hua. Mere upar taras aaraha hein. Bin maa ki beti bolkar aapnana chahthe ho. Nahi !! Agar aap mujhe sympathy ke basis par apnana chahthe hein toh please !! Aap mujhe apnane ki koi zarrorat nahi hein.

Annirudh : nahi bondita maine aisa nahi kaha....

Bondita : toh kaisa kaha pati babu. Kaisa kaha. Aap aapne dil pe hath takkar boliye pati babu aapne mujh par taras ka kar hi is decision ko aap aaye honge.

Annirudh : woh main.....

Bondita : pati babu mujhe aap aur sehne ki zaroorat nahi hein pati babu. Yeh rishta nahi bana hein hum dono ke bich. Aap mere baare mein sochna chod dijeeye. Main phone rakthi hoon.

Bondita cuts the phone and runs to her house. She felt miserable.

Annirudh : ( thinks ) agar woh chahthi hein toh mein divorce de dunga. Mujhe usse akela chodna bilkul acha nahi lag araha hein par ....

It's the day of divorce. Time passed like nothing . Bondita was devastated by the two miserable events in her life. They both reach the court as scheduled.

Meanwhile at Anna house.

Anna : ( thinks ) Today is annirudh and bondita's divorce. I cant believe they both are doing this. Bondita has been patient these many years coundnt be because of me. Her insecurities had made her to do this. I think i should stop her.

Anna as she realised runs to the court.
She reaches the court. She searches for bondita. She sees bondita coming out of a room.

Anna : bondita whatever u think about annirudh is wrong. I know you have taken this decision because of your insecurities but to tell you Annirudh never gave any chance to any girl. He is such a gem as a person. You can't deny such a good man. In my case i was diverted by my mom to propose him but he never accepted me. Literally....

Bondita : after you have said these things i even presurize myself more to give annirudh babu the divorce. Because of me in his life he never had a chance to live. He was never free. He was always bound to me ads a responsibility. He never had a chance to love someone. In case of you , yes i was insecure but finally i understood what i can do for him. I can release him from a ever binding burden of me. And i m happy

Anna : but please understand my point...

Bondita : i m sorry that i accused you but i m sorry for that . I was not in my senses on that day. I lost my mom. I didn't know what to do.

Case no 52 annirudh and bondita Roy Choudhury.

Bondita : i think i should leave it's not your fault.

As annirudh and bondita enter the room

Annirudh : are you sure you want this because i don't want to leave you like this.

Bondita : please don't worry about me i will be all fine. Please i beg you not to see me with those sympathetic eyes . Please.

Annirudh : just listen to me calmly.

Bondita : i want this divorce that's it. Okkay that's it

Annirudh : then fine....

Both agreed mutually and the divorce is done. Kaka sasur ji is feeling bad by seeing this scene.

Kaka sasur ji : bahu!!! Mera matlab bondita beta yeh divorce zaroori tha . Tum dono ko kush rehne ke liye yeh divorce zaroori tha .

Bondita : haan Kaka sassur ji !!! Mera matlab hein ki .. .

Annirudh : port ke liye deri ho rahi hein . Chalo London jaana hein na tumhe..... He paused as if he doesn't want her to.

Bondita : haan !!!!! Jaana hein. ( She knows why he paused but she stresses over that point.

Annirudh takes her to the port. He is not able bro believe himself that he's doing that. He gives her the divorce. He was relieved from a greatest responsiblity of his life. He never imagined himself being permanently away from bondita. His thoughts increase even more when he waved his hands towards her. While returning home.

Anirudh : ( thinks ) bohoth alag lag raha hein bondita. Itne din tum mere sath the. Aab nahi ho aisa barosa bhi nahi ho raha hein. Tum mere bina apna sapna zaroor pura karogi par achanak se mujhe aisa lag raha hein ki mera koi sapna hi nahi hein. Life mein sirf tumhe ek achi zindagi dene ka icha raka hein par aab..... Jahaan kahin bhi ho tum bondita kush rehna.

He prayed for her.
